That illustration isn’t of the end of the description.

I think OP must mean the numbers you see on the right-hand side of story lists. I am not on a device I can manage screenshots with right now, but I think they must mean the rating/score (with a star next to it), Favorites (with a heart next to it), and maybe in certain lists, Views numbers.

Oh, there’s a date there too.

There's a rating at the end of the title (average stars awarded), but I don't see anything after the description.

If you're not on the phone, you can hover your cursor over the numbers. The tooltip tells you: The stars are the rating, the columns are the views, and the heart is the number of users who favorited the story.
