When the National Rifle Association arrives for its 150th annual meeting in Houston in early September, it may want to consider handing President Joe Biden a "Recruiter of the Year" award, given how the Democrat's policies and priorities have appeared to boost the NRA's membership beyond all expectations.

"Since Biden took office, the NRA is averaging 1,000 new members per day," NRA spokeswoman Amy Hunter said.....

Democrats are the biggest gun salesmen in the country as well.

There's always a spike in gun sales after a mass shooting or after a Dem takes office. Apparently because some prospective buyers think such event portends guns being taken off the market. But nothing ever happens.

That's what (D)'s promise to do....one of their big things is attacking 2A rights.

It's happened before, and if we get all laxie-doodie complacent, you authoritarians will do it again.

Because taking guns off the market would be illegal.

Gun bans and waiting periods are not background checks.

A background check logically requires a waiting period. And:

The Brady Handgun Violence Prevention Act (Pub.L. 103–159, 107 Stat. 1536, enacted November 30, 1993), often referred to as the Brady Act or the Brady Bill,[1][2] is an Act of the United States Congress that mandated federal background checks on firearm purchasers in the United States, and imposed a five-day waiting period on purchases, until the National Instant Criminal Background Check System (NICS) was implemented in 1998. The act was appended to the end of Section 922 of title 18, United States Code. The intention of the act was to prevent persons with previous serious convictions from purchasing firearms.[3][4]

No "gun bans."

Has the NRA paid off the debts that they tried to dodge with that bankruptcy ploy?

The NRA is not even a gun-rights organization any more. It is a lobby for the firearms industry.

^^ Has never studied history, especially no history of warfare.

I know the Iraqis were armed under Hussein. It didn't help them fight his government. It later helped them fight the Americans, but only as a hopeless insurgency. They would have been better off unarmed.

Yea, it did, in fact it caused him a lot of grief.

Same way it caused us grief.

It later helped them fight the Americans, but only as a hopeless insurgency.

Hopeless? They won.

They would have been better off unarmed.

So they could have been slaughtered like cattle??? LOL

You're one bizarre and woefully ill-informed person.
