Where is it drawn? This is not something I condone in real life but I am currently writing a scene in a series that won't turn out to be a couple who have planned it for kicks or where the victim discovers that he/she actually liked it.

Thanks

This seems to be the opposite of what I'm asking from what I've read on that link so far.

The scene I'm writing IS rape. No pretence, no planning, no surprise joy. It's spiteful and, according to the aggressor, just deserves.

Chances are good that Literotica won't publish it if it's as described. And if it's nowhere close to the line into nonconsent (differenitiated here pretty much as a "she decided she liked it" ending), there's no particular need to discuss where that line is, is there? You can certainly write it if you're interested in doing so--and there probably are Web sites that will publish it. You can even give a try of getting it posted here. But unconditioned rape is on the "don't publish" list here, so you shouldn't count on it getting through.

Thank you. I'll work around it then.

...I am currently writing a scene in a series ...

A scene in a series is far more likely to be published than a standalone "rapist fantasy." (as opposed to the run-of-the-mill "rape fantasy to be found in the NC section.)

The determining factor is going to be the relevance to the overall storyline. Gratuitous violence -- including gratuitous violent rape -- is going to get your story rejected, while violence/rape that furthers the story in some way; how well written the scene in question is will also have a bearing on acceptance or rejection.

Ask yourself:

1: Is this scene critical to the series progress?

2: Does the scene need to be as graphic/detailed as it is?

3: Does the scene, taken out of context, glorify rape or violence against women?

The last is probably the "line" you're looking for, but it is a seriously flexible and subjective line when considered in light of the first two questions.

With that in mind I'm willing to continue with the original scene. It goes with the story, isn't particularly graphic and certainly doesn't glorify rape by any means.

Thank you.

As Pilot said this won't fly. I'm paraphrasing, but their rule states that at some point the "victim" must show some enjoyment. They do not condone acts of sexual torture or cruelty.

If you feel it needs to be there perhaps you allude to the event somehow in flashback form and don't get too graphic.

Or, if you feel this is truly the story you need top write asstr will accept pretty much anything.

A flashback would work well, thanks.

I agree. I can remember a couple of stories by Daniellekitten that involved rape and sexual assault/torture. However, the stories were nonhuman and more like a romantic thriller, and so they were permitted. The rape, etc., was not the point of the story. I'm sure there are others; those are the ones I could put an author's name to.
