I just got the most lovely public comment on one of my stories and I've read it again and again -it's made me so happy.

So I just wondered - what's the nicest thing someone's said about your writing recently?

Comment on L'histoire
It's nice reading a story about an individual that is completely, with no resignation or guilt, enjoying themselves. While wearing stockings would seem a simple pleasure; the author's description of them has raised them to an Art form by this Writer. Heck, don't ask me why; but I just enjoyed the dickens out of this story.

I just got this lovely one from anonymous (bless his/her heart) on Pigtails and Penance

"Not sure why someone called this "bullshit" - what are some people looking for in erotica? Great story and very good descriptions."

I thought that was pretty nice and certainly the nicest I've gotten recently (okay, pretty much the only one I've gotten recently *L*)

I posted something to a Role play thread this morning and received the nicest pm about it.

Recently, I got this one from Anonymous for my story Feast Of The Gods.

So good! Your stories ar the best I've read so far. All of them. Well structured and written. Great character development and plot. Write a book and i will buy it

It was uplifting to get it on a day when I'm not feeling so hot about my writing skills. So, whoever you are, thanks Anon. :D

For Sex & Candy. Made me glow. Still does. ;)

Shit!!!

There are very very few writers on this site that can do what you do... you paint such an erotic picture. So stylish and classy, so polished. Love your work.

Well, it wasn't on a story ... but I got a huge boost out of hearing someone asked:

"Do you have any idea how lucky you are?"

My favorite, for Coffee.

"Your keen, instinctive sensual voice is woven through everything. I love how you play with ideas and move deftly from one perspective to the next without interruption. It's alluring and provocative."

The time frame for this story is not material to the content of the story it self. Too many people are critical for the obvious but miss the beauty of a story being wrapped up in the technical details of getting from point 'A' to point 'B'! The content of the story is timeless in its passion be it the 30's or 2010. The movement of the character is what the author is telling us about and it is that which our attention is drawn to. Enough time spent on the function of a date.

To the author I say well done.
This was probably the last story I put a date on LOL.

Someone complimented me on my smile via PM the other day.

But my fovorite comment on a story was for "Working Out"

You Make My Pussy Dripping with fun

this story was really fun to read. It also give me some ideas when I'm working out how to get my boyfriend involve. Believe as I was reading this story was dripping wet. I felt like to start make him work out instantly

DRIPPING PUSSY

I got a nekkid pic from a girl about two weeks ago as feedback. Not much to say, but she said it well. :)

wasn't that me?
oh, wait- I'm not in Sydney :D
One of the best comments I've ever recieved was from our own Colly :rose:

and she said;
...The erotic content may not have ben entierly to my tastes, but perhaps the best comment I can give is that I did find it erotic. It takes a deft hand to carry that across boundaries a reader may feel are sacrosanct.
Talk about walking on air!

I always get nice feedback - that I remember. :) If I got bad feedback - enh, unless they said something worthwhile to my inteligence, but no bad feedback has had that effect in five years :D

I can count on one hand the number of times I got negative feedback (with fingers to spare). The rest of the time... Oh, boy. :D

For my latest story: The Wild, Wild Nothing Less: Victorious and Iain

True greatness

I simply bow to your ability to tell a love story; the continuous wooing and interplay, emotional swings, giving and receiving of the tangible and intangible, and all else that is needed for a true, lasting, and loving relationship. Of course nothing is lost, and much gained, by the injection of your wicked sense of humor into the tale. Thank You. Ronnie W

And that was a lovely pulbic comment you made on my story, Aurora.
:kiss::kiss:

It wasn't exactly feedback per se, but the nicest thing for me lately is that a gentleman who is apparently a long-time Lit. writer (and a much better writer than I am) asked me if he could create a sequel for one of the stories that I have posted here.
I was flattered. :)

This is going to be one of my new favorites of yours. A dedication to women I admire by a woman I admire. I'm seeing more strength in your work, keep going love, I'm proud of you as always.

:D

for: You Never Know:

Good grief - don't think I can read another one of your stories this
night. This is the fourth I have read and it goes without saying that
your writing skills are excellent, beyond the normal fair. Most people
cannot capture an emotion or a feeling and put it into words but you are
not most people nor most writers. I hope you are trying to write
professionally.

its been a long time since ive gotten any feed back until the other day when the same person left me four of them.  it really did make my day.

The only one I've gotten in recent history, but that just makes it even more special:

You've managed to tell a tale in a poem. Can't be much better than that. How beautiful, your love.
thank you for sharing the warm glow.

The best of my recent Reviews:

From Fallen Angels Reviews:

The 40 and 50-ish lovers in Never Too Late are not young or perfect looking. They are realistic men and women whose bodies reflect their age. They've lived life and have suffered disappointment and loneliness, which makes it all the more sweet when they find each other and fall in love. Even better, they share sex hot enough to put young, perfect-looking couples to shame!

Christina Rhys does an excellent job at really developing her characters, not an easy feat in short story format. The reader immediately wants to see them find happiness.

Never Too Late is a refreshing collection of erotic stories that those of us who have been around a while can relate to. That's not to say there is nothing for younger readers. These tales are so well done that erotic romance fans of all ages will thoroughly enjoy them.

Seeing this post, made me go check, and I had three. Including this nice one.

Excellent. Sequencing and plot twists made this one of the best.
Words rang true. You must be very successful as a writer or if you do
something else for a living, very happy with using this talent.

My response : I wish! :)

I appreciated this one after a small spate of dismissive feedback on the same series:

"Hallo Oggbashan. I just wanted to say how much I enjoyed
reading your series of stories about "The Scarf Party" which
I have just finished. They really are right up my street as
far as fetishes are concerned and so well written as well.
I have enjoyed most of your stories over the last few
years, and have never found any others to really equal yours. To
me, that particular series really are the best. I hope you
are able to write many more in a similar vein for the
future. Very best wishes."
