They have reduced themselves to bloggers with agendas.
The MSM consistently polls in the 90% range on party affiliation: Democrat. Look at how many of their anchors and reporters go back and forth from making the political news to reporting on it to the constituency that hates special interest advocacy groups...
And now one of them has worked just a little harder to be the peoples' hero and he's just a bad apple, but those other people, those other people, well, they're evil, they're conservative, they're simply out-of-touch old white men afraid of losing their position and possession...
They should share their stuff. Nobody needs more than that amount of money or power, unless, of course, they're the good guys; the Democrats.
I've seen it done so many times since 2000 here at lit that I put it into my list of political shortcuts to thinking employed by the Socialist Left and the culture of the consensus:
A_J's corollary #9, “When a Republican does it, it is a high crime and misdemeanor, when a Democrat does it, then it is, *shrug*, they ALL do it...”
