The NFL's new bag policy.

After the Boston Bombing and various subway attacks world-wide, how can you even begin to doubt that it is a security measure?

Going to a live NFL game is an atrocious experience, anyway.

Depends on the stadium and team. Some have the same energy as a college game, others are fair weather fans going through the motions in an environment that's probably responsible for more than one mass murder.

Is it really for security or public safety? Targeting of female fans? A forced marketing ploy?

You be the judge. http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap10...-bag-policy-to-improve-public-safety-at-games

Glad I haven't bought my season tickets yet. This cancels that idea. I always bring in a seat cushion (prohibited now) and a folded blanket I use as a lumbar support (prohibited now). Without those, I can't sit through the 3-hour game. And I'll be damned if I am going to buy one from them every game.
