Actually I haven't even got to the best part, where this character seems doomed.

I ended up naming her Aurora. Two days later the shooting happened.

Have you read it? Is it well written?

I don't have a problem with fanfic or stories being inspired by others (they all are really), it's just that when all the books on the shelf in the bookshop have that same silver and charcoal photo of a suggestive object look, it makes me groan....

I think Shades was a "made" best seller. They told you it was good and you bought it(you being the public, not you being you)

Now this one is next.

The publishing industry is going to be come American idol. here. look at this shiny superficial person singing covers of previously written songs. Call and vote.

This book is now going to get that treatment. It's no longer going to be is it good, its going to be "can I get someone to publicly declare its a best seller so it will become one?"

I think the <i>50 Shades</i> phenon is a lot like the reported number of shark attacks several summers ago. Shark bites got some press, the press piled on, and the truth of the matter was - shark attacks were actually down that summer.

I'm so over the <i>50 Shades</i> hoopla. I get it, there are lots of erotica lit writers working hard to produce better stories than <i>50</i>, stories that won't ever garner the attention they might deserve. Welcome to life. When was it ever fair?
