The Newly Damned- OOC/Casting Call

This is a roleplay about the afterlife. Everyone here is one of the damned or a demon, or in my case, Lucifer himself.

It's a bit unconventional, however, not totally following the biblical concept of what happens in Hell. Essentially, you are judged by Satan, in his own rival court of judgment. He decides what your fate will be, if you deserve punishment in his eyes, rather than Jehovah's, and if so, what it will be and for how long.

In the meantime, you are all in the newcomers quarters, forbidden to go anywhere else in Hell by Satanic decree.

State your bio, how you died, and what might have (in your character's view, since it's not clear yet) landed you in eternal perdition.

No more than 3 demons, please. Once 3 demons are selected, the openings are only for lost/damned souls.

If a demon, state how you got to be one.

Age is unknown but she died at the age of 19

Riza, in exchange for the life of a loved one, sold herself to Lucifer. The man she had sold her soul for, did indeed overcome the illness that had so plagued him, though not long after that, he died at the hands of another, no one knew why, though Riza was set to a state of depression. She ended up commiting suicide, the anguish of her lover's death simply too much for her.

What might have caused him to come to hell: Rape, Torture and Murder of twin sisters,
Malcolm was in love with both the twins, who had refused him many many times, and one night in a drunken rage, he had kidnapped the sisters and basically made them his for the weekend. He had took them to a backwoods cabin, brutally raped them both, and killed them slowly through torture. When he came out of his drunken stupor and saw what he did, he took out his 45 magnum and after leaving a note apologizing to everyone for what he did, shot himself in the forehead, dying a slow and painful death.

Lord Andrew Burns

A prominent Scottish peer, Lord Burns was active in politics and international finance, while collecting a great deal of art. He got caught in the middle of a plot by several of his servants to steal from his estate, in which his solicitor was an apparent accomplice. He reported them, causing the solicitor to have him murdered.

Possibly damned for: 5 divorces and serial philandering. Also a notorious atheist, which alienated him from the mostly Presbyterian members of his family. Otherwise a solid and wonderful man, including a great father to his 8 children. Very generous philanthropist, fierce monarchist, and staunch opponent of Scottish independence. A lot of connections to the USA and Canada through business investments and social circles.
