Madison sipped her iced tea as he mentioned what a nice place it had been a nodded in agreement “It great here brunch here is great as well” she glanced at him as he asked for recommendations “ Sure I can write a few down for you there are a lot of decent places around” she said

She saw the owner send fresh rolls for them and chuckled thanking him knowing they wanted to most likely reel Brett in as a customer because they could tell he had money.

She was surprised he asked if Walt traveled that early all the time and she said “Sometimes he does if he travels out of country, he had to be in Europe a few days, he’ll be back in three days” she said

Brett had just assumed that Walt had gone to the office so hearing that he was actually traveling out of the country was an intriguing surprise.

“Oh, he’s out of town?” He asked, trying not to break his promise to be good but finding it difficult. “So he goes out of town often? That has to be difficult for you huh?”

He knew that Madison likely wasn’t going to open up to him about the challenges his travel presented but he was trying to extract any insights that he could.

Madison chuckled unsure if he was trying to pry or genuinely curious. “Sometime….but I understand that’s what comes with my husbands businesses he is the CEO of an international trading company along with a few other business”she chuckled

“I keep busy myself but most of my business are online and managing Walt’s staff for him but I do travel with him at times trips will take a few weeks”she said and smiled knowing those trips were more like mini vacations for them outside of the work

“Do you travel often for your career? I’m not familiar with sports but Walt did mention something about you being off season right now?”she said keeping cordial

“Oh you have an online business? That’s interesting. What kind of business is it?” Brett asked, curious to see where Madison’s interests lay. She clearly doesn’t need to work so anything she did do was likely something that interested her or she was passionate about.

“Well during the season I’m mostly on the road but i wouldn’t really call it traveling. I’m either in the hotel or at the ballpark. Don’t get a lot of time for sight seeing going out. On the off season though, I like to travel and make up for it.” He replied

As he spoke Brett’s eyes drifted again to her sports bra. Though he was trying his best, it was difficult for him not to notice just how nicely she filled it out.

“I am a Marketing Coach and offer career counseling, I also run several charities as well” she said knowing she didn’t need to work but liking to keep busy it kept her with something to do while Walt was away and also be productive.

“ We’re having a gala next month if you’re interested it’s to raise charity for the homeless in this city,you’re welcome to come” she said

One of the the things the team had stress to him when he arrived was their focus on being a positive impact to the community. They didn't dictate how the players went about this but there was an understanding, especially with the higher paid players, that some of that incredibly large salary make it's way back to the community. He hadn't really put much thought into the causes that he wanted to support but Madison's seemed just as worthy as any other.

"Tell you what. I think I'd like to attend your gala and I'd be willing to make a $250,000 donation right now on one condition." Brett said then paused for a moment mostly for dramatic affect. "Have dinner with me tonight and show me one of your favorite restaurants. It seems like a win-win. You get a nice meal and also a large donation for your charity."

Madison was hesitant for a moment surprised he’d offer such a generous donation upfront and was curious about his condition as he offered dinner.

She wasn’t sure about taking a man out alone to dinner,she didn’t want rumors to begin about them that could hurt Walt, but the donation was a large one and she didn’t want to be rude.

“Ok…I think I can do dinner,My treat of course but I’ll have to let Walt know of course though I’m sure he’d be delighted knowing it’s you”she joked knowing her husband was a huge fan of their team

“Just let me know what your preference is? I’ll make sure to pick out a great place and bring donation paperwork”she said being nice

Brett couldn't help but chuckle inwardly about Madison telling him she needed to inform her husband. He had no doubts that Walt would encourage her to go and have a good time. To Brett, it was almost comical just how clueless the man was and he couldn't quite tell if it was because he was just that secure or if his apparent admiration for Brett was blinding him. It was possible that it was a mix of both but whatever it was, Brett wasn't going to complain one bit.

"I do love good Italian so if any place like that comes to mind, I'm in." Brett replied although he'd like be just fine with whatever she picked. After all, it wasn't necessarily the food that was going to be the main attraction of the evening.

The two finished their coffee and Brett walked Madison out to her car before the two parted ways. He hoped that the relatively mundane nature of their interactions might be enough to allow her to let her guard down just a little bit later in the evening.

Madison had agreed to the Italian dinner suggestion and the two finished their coffee thanked the owners and paid then he escorted her to her car.

She made reservations at one of the nicer Italian places in town and handled a few emails ,business calls and had a video chat with Walt when she got in explaining dinner and the huge donation and he told her to treat Brett well and that he would have something nice delivered by morning to Brett as a thank you.

They had agreed to an 8pm dinner earlier before parting and Madison had a little time to relax so she showered then went to relax in the hot tub in her backyard wearing a red two piece needing to relax her body after the intense workout.

Brett scanned the pool deck then found one of the lounges that had the back lowered all the way that he could lay Madison down on. After making his way over to it he gently set her down then guided her over and onto her stomach.

"Just relax." Brett said soothingly as he sat on the edge of the lounge beside her then wrapped his large hands around her leg, pressing his thumbs firmly into the muscle as they drifted slowly up and down her leg.

When she started toward the house Brett made his way to the side gate then over to his house to get ready for their dinner later on.

At just before 8:00 Brett pulled his Lamborghini into Madison’s driveway then climbed out to knock on the door.

“ I completely forgot the donor paperwork, would it be ok if we got it when we got back?”she said then glanced up a Brett who had been peeking between her and the menu.
