This story/analogy takes place in ToddLand where everything is more fucked up and screwed up than it looks or seems. The outcome may or may not have anydirect bearing on real life

Once upon a time when countries and nations were new and formed, taxes were low, but graduall import tariffs were raised to a point where the people rebelled against thier oppressors, they fought them on the land and on the sea, until they proclaimed victiry and took the new land to be thier own, as they who moved thier had intended. Free from the burdens of the old home land, hoping to making a new home with choice of representation and what not.

Anyways there were people who loved the old way and vowed that they would once again reestablish the old way, but they had to make it look like a good thing and they had to dress it it up and make it look like something new.

So slowly little by little they gained influence into positions of power, through direct means, and sometimes covert means, no matter how they got there thier influence was there and would remain there.

Once into this position they couldn't simply effect the changes they wanted for they new the people would rise up against them, as all those who moved to the new land had done so in the first place.

Welfare

So slowly they began a move of "progress", giving those who made poor choices little hand outs to urge them on forward in poor decison making. basically rewards for doing wrong, mean while they had to get these "rewards from some where so they took them from those who had made good decisiions under the guise of a service tariff or tax. Many explained it off as well those people are rich they are making more moeny then they "need" so they can offord to have what they worked for "redistributed" to those who foolishly and knowingly made poor descisions.

Soon also thier plan would include reward people for having sex out of marriage, sex without protection, pregnancies without marriage. All in the line of thought, well we know people are "unable" to control thier bodies so we will at least make thier poor decisions a rewardful experince by paying for them, giving them condoms, giving them day after pills, rewarding them with extra money for more children even if they are single parents. After all this was "progress".

Gun Control/Police State

The plan was coming together beautifully. Soon though those in power knew thier steps had to be carefully trod in sequence or else thier would be rebellion against and an upheaval would occur ousting them from power to control the populace.

The next step was crucial, take away the weapons from the legal law abiding citizens, while doing it delicately convincing them it was for thier wown good, with jaded surveys, polls and statistics. They managed this although it took longer it was achived. they were able to do this, in the same breath they quietly and sometimes not so quietly increased laws against the law abided, increased police and military responsibility. Soon these police, empowered by the organization, and victim mentality took rights into peoples lives that laws never required or demanded of them.

Drugs/Terrorism/Medicare

This was one of the final steps To complete control by the organization, haivng fully infiltrated all political powers and positions they could do as they willed with hardly any problem or response from the people.

soon they began to make safe benign drugs illegal, driving up demand and price, they stiffled the market to a postion where they could pawn other countries against them to do attacks on them for the organization to ensure its polcie and militant control over its people all in the name of security and protection, when in reality they were boxing up the people to bee thier sheeple.

The side effects of illegalizing the drugs was a planned bonus of addiction. Soon through regulation the organization would plant in the mind that those addicted be rewarded by being insured by insureance companies the same as a non addicted healthy living person price., what this would do knowing addicted people are going to be of more need of medical coverage, would raise the over cost of insurance making the organiztion look like the good guys when they come in and declare universal coverage for all. So the people who again made poor choices got rewqarded the people who made good choices penalized.

Soon insurance prices would raise that even those who managed to save some of thier money from "redistributuion", had no where to go but to the organization for thier medicare.

Conclusionary

do to careful planning and implimentation the organization was able to enact thier plan of enslaving the people willingly of the peoples own will. and once the people realized they were slaves and wanted to rebel it was far to late for them to so a thing, for they were already in cages and had given up everything they could have used to fight with.

I've been here of and on for a year.

I tend to avoid posting to the political threads, unless I'm in one of those moods....seems lately though if you aren't in the "crowd" you go largely unnoticed...

So, I say WTF?....

Nice to meet you too...

i hear you about not being in the "in" crowd, though everyone will deny that their even exists an "in" crowd or "clique"

those things are just made up by us loners to deal with and deflect our own insecurities.

There's another thread on here about the Literotica gossip going on.....I got back on here after a brief hiatus.....okay it was about three months.....got a cable modem and a whole new world opened up....

The problem is that all the other people I had carried on with have all left....

So, I have come to the conclusion that most here are only interested in reading/replying with a quick one or two sentence reply at best, otherwise it would be too taxing on their posting "prowess" as evidenced by chilled vodka's reply.....

While i may be no great thinker ( according to some here), I just know what is right and wrong based on my gut feeling.

So, please be as wordy on your posts, and I'll always read them...

Toddy, toddy.... (sigh)

As another member of the "out crowd" - I salute you. :D

But why must you deliberately bait the Leftie-Liberal crowd? You know that your young ass could freeze in the street in about one-third of the Several states - yet you continually rag on (somewhat inaccurately, I might add...) about the Healthcare system in this country we share...

That's OK, we are a quiet & gentle Nation, and protect our Dissenters even better than do the Yanks. ;)
