Not my intention, I assure you.Blackbich said:*Sigh*
Sometimes, I think people just throw these questions out there to try to piss people off.

The truth to the matter is the "N" word, ending with "er", represents bigotry and racism.
Many hip hop artists uses the "N" word, ending with an "a" (EXAMPLE- Chris Rock's "Can A Nigga Get A Table Dance?")
Quite frankly, I don't condone the use of either word, considering that both are referring to an African-American individual.
I didn't say I felt guilty. Are white people who don't use the N word or other racist language supposed to be wracked with some kind of disabling mental condition? Has it ever occurred to you that some of this has to do with taste? And yes, I do think it's tasteless for rappers to use the word; I just don't think it's racist for them to do so.Oliver Clozoff said:Shadowsource,
your white guilt is sublime.

I don't agree with the use of the word from ANY ethnic group. However, the reason black people deem it okay to say it and not white people is (1) because of the demeaning, racist nature white people tend to have/mean when they use the word and (2) because as a black person, if I hear another black person use the word I know they can't mean it in the same way that a white person would mean it. I, personally, don't think that just because you're black that entitles you to use a word that has negative connotations regardless.
