Go here, from what I can see, the millionaires' club in Congress is pretty evenly distributed.

I never bought into the lie when Democrats vilify rich people. If you do buy the notion that rich people are evil, keep in mind that the people telling you that are just as 'rich and greedy' as Republicans.

No Shit!

How does not wanting to pick up the tab for rich people's taxes morph into vilify?

hmmm...which party raises the minimum wage? Which party tries to get health care for the poor? Which party cares more about educating our kids?

Here’s the deal, love. Dems and Pubs who run the show are rich…filthy, fucking rich. The dems are only slightly better than the pubs since their constituency is the middle class. The pubs are totally the bitches of the owners. The dems also take money from the owners but their votes still come from the middle class. However, I have no doubt that it is the owners of this county who exercised their power through the pubs, who started the class war. I think that they responded to the fear of illegal immigration which traditionally supports the dems and the Obama promise to redistribute wealth.
If you are middle class, stop paying attention to the man behind the curtain who pushes the buttons which make you ignore an economic system which will fuck you in the ass because you were distracted by biblical, racial and gun rights issues.

Politicians on both aisles are scum sucking rat bastard traitors and soon as most of us realize that the faster we can get OUR country back on track. Think I'm kidding? Guess we'll find out in another year.

It ain't about black, white, liberal, conservative, legal or illegal. It's about a gaggle of families that control the gold and find it their right to control the masses.

You'll see.

This is not surprising at all. Because of the nature of our federal election system wealthy people of either party have a natural advantage in attaining office: they can self-finance campaigns. If this sort of thing is objectionable to you then you should support federal funding as the sole funding source of all federal election campaigns.

The portion of the republican party membership made up of wealthy people is greater than that of the democratic party. However, who belongs to the party is not the issue. The republicans have some working people active with the party, but what's important is the party's policy focus: the republican party represents and advances the financial interests of the wealthiest 5% of Americans.

As a non-partisan individual there's one very striking difference between the parties I've observed over many years.

Both parties have their extremely wealthy, deep pockets supporters and contributors. But the wealthy individuals who support the republicans do so specifically so republicans can get into state and federal office to pass laws to allow those same wealthy people to go untaxed. They support republicans so they can get a free ride.

The wealthy democratic party supporters are behind that party's candidates even though they understand those people will hold office and pass laws that will expect those same wealthy people to contribute sometime to our society. They support democrats even though they know they will be expected to pull their own weight.

All of this is not about thinking wealthy people are 'evil' as you put it. It's simply a matter of objecting to wealthy people (and corporations) expecting a free ride on the backs of working people and the poor.

Funny how a thread called The myth of the 'Rich Republican' actually turned out to display The myth of the 'Rich-hating Democrats'.

Non-partisan she says. Wow, I better go look up non-partisan in the dictionary too see if the definition has changed recently.

That post looked pretty non-partisan to me. Got any specifics you felt were "partisan" or are you just sharing some of your patented meta-commentary snark here? Hmmm?

Where did the idea come from that "non-partisan" has to mean "devoid of any opinion or philosophy that bears any single fragment of overlap with anything anyone in any party also believes"?

Wherever it came from, it needs to go back. It's goofy.

I was actually referring to her posts in a different thread where she claims conservatives to not value human life and are happy to see millions die so that rich people can make more money. Bonnie is about a non-partisan as Howard Dean. Or Rush Limbaugh. Just to get some representation from both sides of the aisle.

Would you expect anything less from them. Even the rich democrat hates the rich republican, although why the rich democrat wants to raise taxes on the rich is beyond me, yet there are some democrats who "work" the system until they get caught, then get special deals on the back taxes and interest and penalties.

Well, don't think I an defending the Republicans on this. I find the people on both sides to be scoundrels and I activity dislike both. It's just that someone brought up today that Dems are the goody goody Robin Hoods. So that hot button was pressed.

Which party cares more about educating our kids?

Neither. The dems are concerned with keeping education union support. It's about salaries and benefits. They really don't care about the children anymore than the Republicans. If they did, the kids would be educated, and many are not.

.which party raises the minimum wage?
Yes, that is the Dems

Which party tries to get health care for the poor?
I am not sure what the total history is regarding this. I do know Bush signed a huge increase for seniors. I don't remember if Clinton did.

Considering the amount of money spend per child on education in the US and the results compared to other countries I can't imagine anyone wanting to take credit for the US education system.

Dear Reader, what this poster means to says is, RICH DEMOCRATS ARE WHORES WITH HEARTS OF GOLD.

That's not partisan, it is true.

Consider the actions that would befit the motivation of seeing millions die by deprivation. Compare this to what the Republicans are doing. Cite any differences.
