Let's play a game, post a line from a movie, and then see who can guess it correctly, the correct guess gets to post the next line.

The movie, and the actor need to be posted to guess correctly.

I will start..............

You're supposed to say that actor?

Oops, you're right. I'll go edit and add in a sec.

Sally Fields.

(We own the movie, I can resite it from beginning to end.)

Cary Elwes in The Princess Bride! One of the best movies of all time! As he fell down the hillside after Princess Buttercup pushed him!

Hehehehe...my quote: The number Five is right out!

I agree. I love that part, although I've always wondered why she didn't just roll down the hill after him, why she had to go ass over tea kettle.

I think I know the movie, but I'm not sure the actor, so I'm gonna let someone else get this one.

For the first part, cause she is a woman and therefore must do it the hardway. That way she can blame him for it later if or when she gets mad at him!

For the quote, it's a good movie!

Yep. I just haven't seen it in half of forever and cannot for the life of me recall who said it.

Oh, gods, I could never keep any of 'em apart, save for the tall one. :p

I want to submit a guess, though, I think it was Eric Idle, MP and the Holy Grail.

I'll throw mine into the fray, under the stipulation that it's not allowed to count as an offer until someone verifies if I'm right. :)

Quote: Good, because all my filth is in alphabetical order. This, for example, was under "H" for 'toy'.

That would be Val Kilmer in "Real Genius". :þ

No, it was definitely Monty Python. The whole Holy Hand Grenade of Antioch scene.

"Three shall be the number of thy counting, and the number thou shalt count shall be three. Two shall not be counted, except that thou shalt then proceed on to three." And there's more in that vein. :) That's probably not exact, but it's close enough to make apparent just how much of an MP geek I am. ;)

But for the life of me, I could never keep straight who was who in the MP crew, except for John Cleese, and who could mix him up with anyone else? o_O

After taking a peek at the names of the MP crew, I've come to the realisation that I -was- wrong -- it wasn't Idle, it was Palin.

I still stand by the source of the quote, though. :D

Oops. You're right. I googled it.

Andie McDowell as Anna in Hudson Hawk

She gave me a pen. I gave her my heart and she gave me a pen.

I ask for so little. Just fear me, love me, do as I say and I will be your slave.
