is docking in t-25 minutes!

I have not seen her since being in the hospital in february.

If I don't come back to post again by monday the stress has sent me back to the hospital again.
:rose:

*great big hugs and lotsa prayers*

I think I'm getting the silent treatment from mine right now. THANK GOD

You want mother issues? Try being a submissive male...mother issues pretty much DEFINE us...

On the plus side, she's 2500 miles away. On the minus side, she arrives Sunday for 10 days of fun family togetherness! Oh, joy!

Just saw mine this evening, drove 145 miles round trip to give her a birtthday present that she didn't open for about an hour.

Families are great

We will be thinking good thoughts for you Netzach...surely those good vibes will work some miracle and make it a good visit. If not, we will all be here for you to vent to.

Catalina :rose:

I love my mother but I am glad she is back in New Zealand.....she would never understand the D/s thing or the bi thing......she lives in her own little world......thinks my ex is just wonderful and wonders why I left him

She's got her passport now and I'm really hoping she doesn't take it into her head to come for a visit

laying a big old hug and grope on Netz I got some surface to air missiles I can spare if you need 'em. Or I can share my mum, who's pretty cool.

I missed this thread yesterday when you posted it, so now you're mom is either there or has come and gone. Either way I hope you're visit wasn't too stressful.

My mother came to visit for 2 weeks when the baby was 1 1/2 mo. old. It wasn't too bad, though we were looking up silly laws on the internet and apperently in the US it's a federal law that being a Dom/me is illigal....falls under the category of torture and such is illigal (damn, I"m sure I spelled that wrong, I'm sorry brain not functioning too well these days). It was funny because she commented about a friend of hers that is into BDSM, about how she should tell him so he could have a good laugh (I know this guy, and he once pointed out that while my sister is demanding I had a real dominatrix in me...LOL, I was mortified and terrified when he said it, I didn't know really what BDSM was at the time, it was still one of THOSE kinda scarey wrong things... I was kinda [ok again can't figure out spelling so I'm gona write it the way it sounds} nyeve {sorry} back then) Anywho, got me wondering what my mom knows about BDSM, I thought about coming out to her (haven't built up the balls to do it yet) and figured....NO, I don't want to talk with her about it right now, might leave her sharing stories with me and I REALLY don't want to know those kind of things about her, there are just some mental images I'd prefer not to have right now.

Aeroil has known mother issues?

Or is Aeroil currently being prevented from posting by his mother?

Aeroil knows what I am talking about.

Was just kidding. Certainly didn't mean to pry or intrude. My apologies if I did.

Who said you were prying. If he's got problems, it's most likely brother problems. But I'll leave it to him to explain it.

This reminds me of when my father comes into town. I spend hours hiding shit, and there is still always something left out by the time he comes in.

Why not tell your dad? I can understand hiding it from your mom, but I could understand not being as freaked out about my dad knowing... as for my mom... eek, she'd throw holy water on me.

Well my mother is carbon dust, but if she was alive there is nothing I would hide from her.

I have more things to hide than sex toys.

I should have know this thread would have nothing to do with Parliament Funkadelic.

I'm sure she was just happy to see you and didn't want to seem rude by paying more attention to the present than your arrival.

that would be an improvement.

thanks for the good wishes, everyone. I survived by asking her to teach me to quilt. Arts+crafts = detente. Whew.

And now you can all be treated to the vision of Netz quietly stitching. Jeez.

Oh, I don't know if the Mother issues of a submale eclipse the Mother issues of a female top, you'd be rather amazed.

Quilting is good...

It is like playing chess, relationships with mothers, that is.

Good move. Distracting her is always the best tactic, I've found. Ask for her help with something safe and neutral, and then just nod a lot.

Maybe we can get together and recreate that scene in Jaws where Dreyfuss and Shaw compare sharkbite scars...
