What do you think is the most romantic poem ever?

I'm currently playing secret admirer to a young lady at my work. I left roses on her desk not long ago. Next I would like to leave some very romantic poetry for her to read. I just don't know what poems to use!!

Okay here goes.
I agree with her... pointing to the cutie in the beanie. It is unfortunate that in today's society the first thing she, and others, will think is stalker. Yes they can do romantic mushy things too. Not just be wierd and creepy. I know it sounds romantic and all, and would be. but could also scare the crap out of her.

Bend over bitch, let me scratch that itch.

(Brings a tear to my eye.)

Kinda wish I had a secret admirer. Might be a little fun for a while.

Anyway, maybe you should space out your tokens of admiration so as not to appear a whacko?

That's the funny thing. There's a thin line between a Secret Admirer and a Stalker. Not sure where I'd fall in between the two. *puts Ski Mask back on and sneaks out of thread*

A thought. How about talking to a friend you trust, who knows her. They can let her know it is no one creepy or scarey. But someone that truly likes her. Then maybe it won't be so wierd.

Unless of course you are creepy and wierd.

I have to agree with the other ladies. Flowers & things on my desk would probably freak me out. I had a "secret admirer" years ago at a restaurant I worked in & he scared me to pieces. I think you should just talk to her, buy her a cup of coffee or go to a casual place for lunch.

Stalker??

Hmmm,

Lots of interesting thoughts on the whole 'secret admirer' idea. I must say, the thought of a stalker would never have occurred to me. Maybe I'm just too trusting... For what it's worth, our building is reasonably secure and it should be obvious that it's a coworker that is leaving these things for her. Yes, I suppose I could be putting her in an awkward position if she starts asking other male coworkers if it's them. On the other hand, if I let her know it is me, there wouldn't be any secret to it! More to the point, I saw this as my way of making myself stand out from the crowd before I asked her out. The lady in question is, after all, very attractive (and not just in my opinion!) and probably has several other guys flirting with her. If I simply walked up and asked her to have dinner with me, I would just be part of the crowd. I figured I'd leave one thing each week (just enough to make her wonder who it is, I hope) for about a month, gradually introducing hints as to my identity.

Regardless, I have decided on my course of action and will not be swayed from it. Which brings me to the main point of my post: All of you have offered interesting feedback, but not one of you has offered any suggestions for romantic poems!!!!!

a mushy poem... should be something with a few hints to yourt identity something like

I'm the one down the hall
Who's seen your beauty since the fall
Fear not, fair maid, I'm simply courting
My identity with your love is reporting

or something equally cheesy.
