It seems to me that the mainstream Muslim community could be doing much, much more to thwart the spread of the disease destroying them. They should be distancing themselves in a much more aggressive manner from the extremist plague. Even moving away from the practices that tend to anger others around them. They could follow their religion without some of the outward appearances for one thing. (But then so could the Jews and Sikhs).
Muslims know what passages are being used by the Monsters and they know how to counter them.

If you want to show examples of foreign alphabets and writing styles, why use controversial phrases? Why show examples you know are likely to incite backlash?
