Lily looked at herself in the mirror and couldn't help blushing. The dress her husband had sent her was stretch satin in an eye catching violet. It was a strapless tube that barely managed to cover her breasts and her ass at the same time, and with every move she made, it scrunched, inching higher up her hips or pulling down over her breasts. The g string that came with it lift little doubt that it was designed for strippers, but they had been apart for a long time, due to his training schedule. This was what he wanted, and this was what she would give him.
She could barely stand in the heels he had sent, 5" stilettos, and backless at that, and she felt the looks that she got when she walked into the hotel bar. She knew what she looked like, and what everyone there thought. Even the bartender smirked as he took her order, and she knocked back two kamikazes just to take the edge of her nerves off. She checked her phone. No messages, which was no shock. He'd promised he'd text as soon as the plane landed, but he'd be in a hurry to catch a cab.
Fifteen minutes later, she was sipping her fourth cocktail, feeling lightheaded and giggling at some stupid sports commentator on the TV over the bar. She checked her phone again. Still no messages. She checked the flight information, and found it had landed over an hour ago. There was absolutely no way that it would take him an hour to get here from the airport, unless he walked. She glanced down and saw that her laughing had made the dress slip again, exposing a little sliver of her dark areola, and she tugged it up.
"where r u?" she texted him, when her fifth attempt to call went straight to his voicemail, again.
Meanwhile, in an airport far away, her husband's plane sat on the runway. The storm had knocked out the control tower, and everything had been frozen for hours while crews attempted to repair things.
Lily had no idea of what had happened, of course. She just knew she had dressed like a whore for him, and he had stood her up. She was too drunk to drive home at this point, and too angry to think about taking a cab. She felt the eyes of the men in the place on her, and threw back her drink. She set the empty glass on the bar and nodded to the bartender. She knew she was dangerously close to the point where she'd start getting sloppy and stupid, but for once, she just didn't care. Whatever happened tonight, it was on his head.
