I saw some idiot starting a thread saying Iran will be the next
US target of asswhopping.

Read my lips: it's Syria next, not Iran. Don't you see the the
dark forces are gradually working towards Syria's direction?

It's all pre-planed by the neoCon thugs already.

"Syria"+"SALSA"+"US gov."+"Hesbullah"(sp.)

Read and weep.

Well, it sure looked like it was going to be Iran for a while. I'm relieved that it's not; what a debacle that would have been. If you'll recall, Saddam Hussein thought invading Iran while it was in the throes of its revolution after they'd kicked the Shah out would be a piece of cake, and he found out he was wrong. True, one of the Iranians' methods of resisting Iraqi invasion was to send little kids out to trip the mines, but hey, they remained unconquered.

It looks like the Lebanese are going to kick the Syrians out of their country, and that's good news.

It's only Syria until North Korea starts making noise again.

You know, I think they're secretly playing a game with our heads. Like the whack a mole games. As soon as we turn our attention towards the one that pops up, it goes back in its hole and another comes out elsewhere.

Seriously, can't you just picture Bush with a mallet, trying to whack little images of other countries' leaders while they keep popping up and disappearing again?

That's a funny image. However, do you really see the US striking at North Korea? It is more likely to have viable atomic weapons than Iran, and we didn't beat North Korea back when it didn't have them. 'Course back then North Korea was being backed up by Red China; whereas nowadays, the People's Republic doesn't have any interest in North Korea making that kind of trouble; it'd be bad for business.
