There is a metaphor for poetry, it's twenty years old and change:

moonglasses

Literotica is one of the places where one should know it or shame on them.

and you my good man are one of the reasons why one should know it

Diversity, of a kind, was what he was after,
At literotica where the poetry got way out of hand;
amoungst the human folly difficult to understand.
The porn palace's poetry of physics....

1201 rippin' off the hits - in this case-Auden

now these moonglasses is that with or without
shades?

I find if I wear moonglasses rather than using the visor, my starry-eyed view gets refracted and instead of twinkle, all I get is blur.

Maybe, if I have another drink? It won't help but then again, it never hurts.

Merry bi-millenial and eleventh natal celebration to that ever famous rabbi to all and to all a good night.

I once wandered around a bit with a pillowcase on my head for laughs, until I fell into a rock quarry.

Moon glasses

clue me in
moonglasses fogged
I googled around, they escape me

Google some wine,
lift my digital cup
to toast old friends
for auld lang syne
is more than a song:
good to see you
and your spankers
after soooo long!

:kiss::heart::kiss:

It's breakfast cereal, I know some of you are thinking Wheaties but more like Shredded Wheat, Corn Pops, Fruit Loops, that other fruit cereal that comes in colours unknown to nature, fluoresce your insides
Those Granola types, not so much anymore, aging hippies
How about you? Bran Flakes, Rice Crispies? snap crackle...sssss
One woman here: Cream of Wheat, with white sugar, so nice, so white, not even a raisin, just sugary whiteness she doesn't talk to
Me I always thought of myself as more a Count Chockula, Coca Puffs type

That would be the metaphor for Poetry except there all Registered Trademarks.

Now over in the next isle....metaphors galore

Clean up in Aisle 7

You people are insane!:D:rose::heart: In this case insanity is a compliment...

A metaphor for pottery:

Anti-gravity mud.

[the water...]

***

the water of a God-like river
seems standing still
while moving so fast that
before you know it
the ten thousand mile long journey
from the distant mountains
to the far away ocean
is over
leaving you thoughtful and a little bit
sad
