city to city sprinkled
with Atlantic sand. Do you
feel cold when lake
blows ice and no waves
slither up the shore,
but prairies spread
away instead?

Even in the press
of crowd do you hear
raucus New York City
hue and cry, Gershwin
spun east away
on highway wheels?

I don't know how it feels
inside your shoes or eyes
but poetry implies our kinship.

Woman is a way of knowing,
faceless and enjoined.

talk to me sister,
hold my hand
and walk me to the water.

the plastic pails and shovels
of childhood
are buried there
for us to recover, hidden
like a squirrel’s chestnuts
for hungry winter.

with them
we can dig away the sand
of discontent,
return to innocence
and the shade of big umbrellas,
to curls and cotton candy.

stare off at England with me
and put your arm
around my shoulders,
our toes in the healing salt
of Atlantic medicine.

listen with me
to the cry of the gulls,
the song
that brings us back
to a place of belonging,
the whistles
that fly us home
together.

Tara's work amazes me,
from the other side of the (polar) fence,
I appreciate her mastery
of techiques that she employs.
I would wish her much success,
but,
that's a given.

Tara's tall and skinny -- it's almost unlikely she has a great ass--more like a sweet boy ass--but I have no interest in her physical features at all at all - it is simply the Tara-ness of her that I fell in love with (unrequitedly) after six mins on the board

I just took it for granted that she wwas a force of nature

but if you ain't a goyl you ain't nevah gonna see her ass anyways

I just got back from the store and I had a Tara thought but it wasn't nice enough, so I'm still thinking....



And now:
I like Tara because she writes poetry and she doesn't pick her nose (I'm guessing).
