BECAUSE NO ONE LIKES A MEAN PERSON:
In recent case studies, I compiled a list of LIT users that have proven to be MEAN and/or otherwise rude to other posters on numerious occasions when given the opportunity.

ELIMINATING TROLLS:
By adding these people to "Ignore", you will see a drastic change in quality of the forum. But don't take my word for it. Try it for a week. You'll see that It works.

See, when you add someone on Ignore, not only are their posts hidden, but so are their threads. So you don't have to sift through all the bullshit.

ABOUT PART II:
This thread is a continuation of Mean People 2 Put On "IGNORE". That thread is outdated and inacurate.

• This list will organise the mean people into categories. (rascists, sexists, trolls, etc...)
• Anyone can now request someone to be added to the list given that you provide the following:
  • Username.
  • Category.
  • And a link to the users mean post(s).

Thing is Brinnie, you throwing stuff out there to get people to say mean things is more bullshit then your list. You say something I don't like, I am going to defend it. Your not a deviant. Your probably the most 'norm' person here, just trying to get the spotlight with her posts and free speech movement.

You judge people on posts you make. Do you not see a logic, or has that flown by you in your effort to be "lit police" keeping the forms safe from the open minds. One post does not make someone an asswhole, or anything else. 1 post shows a small glimpse, but it could be a lot more. Say someone makes a post about female rights, and I come back with a non-female type manor. Am I sexiest? No, I have an opinion. Your problem is you want everyone's opinions to follow your own.

Look at lately, your suicide post. A classic example of you trying to be an attention whore that you are. When I see a post from you, I don't see someone fighting for free speech, or giving someone advice, or a sound opinion. I see a little punk trying to be all big bad on a fucking message board. Your so caught up in your little world you forgot something very important...

I don't care what you say. The only reason I am posting this is because I get tired of it. People make threads asking for help, you answer with some bullshit setting people off. I am so sick of this freedome fighting whiney people. People may PM you saying how much they have been a jerk, (posers as well) but how many people have you blocked and ignored. Linuxgeek may be an asshole, but one that occasionally makes me examine my stance - not change it, just examine it. Plus his posts are relatively short compared to some on your list.

Tianimin Square: The Chinese government claimed to not care what the student's had to say. Yet they chose to censor them anyway.

I personally believe that it also cuts down in the build up of angst that leads to insurgency among the population.

For example: I have the right to criticize Senator Big Mouth, because of some statement he made. If the government allowed Senator Big Mouth to send someone to disagree with me in a visible fashion other than a war of words - other people would get upset that the government could be going after them next. Soon you have clandestine groups meeting and due to fear and having the fears bottled up and not expressed, you have a huge "Road Rage" incident of Country Changing proportions. NOTE: I am talking about the American Revolutions here, as well as places elsewhere in the world.

Just as not all people are suited to be slaves, submissives or Doms, the same can be said for the general population in regards to their government.

I may not like the direction that those who have been elected are taking my country; but the system in my country is one that allows me to make the attempt at relatively peaceful (if noisy from all the shouting) change in direction.

Good post, but I doubt she'll get it. There were plenty on the GB who tried to do the same and all brat-nie was interested in was her troll like activities--some I suspect still do. I've had her on ignore for ages mainly because I got tired of some of the sickening images she'd link in to her posts while trolling. Only reason I found this was because someone on the GB who doesn't have her on ignore yet happened to quote her post and a link to this thread was here. I was curious, so I checked it out.

However she cares to justify her posting "style" the only thing I can relate the pattern to is troll activity. I'm sure that is why she considers me on her 'asshole' list. I called her what she was acting like. I'm actually kinda curious why she bothered listing me on a new list when I don't recall posting anything at or about her since I put her on ignore a good month or so ago.

This is exactly true. Free Speech is an administration.

• Christianity gives you free will over your actions.
• America gives you free speech and not get arrested for it.
• Literotica gives you freedom to post and not be banned/censored.

The point?

When you say "I have free speech, I'll say what I want!" you are only free to speech under the administrators of the free speech given to you. In this case, Literotica is the provider of the free speech.

Did the administrator issue a ban? No, they both have free speech to tell each other to shut the fuck up all day.

Scenario #2

In this scene, the postwhore feels he has seniority over the newb, because he is new. In his mind, he believes that he is closer to the administration than the n00b. And this is where free speech gets a little shady, because some people don't know that there is no heirarchy.

RoryN believes that if you are intimidated by postwhores to where you feel as if you are censored: "that's your problem".

While I will confirm that his logic is acurate, I am also the worlds biggest fan of relativity. If it is "your problem" as RoryN stated, then why is he addressing issue? Apparently, it looks like it is also RoryN's problem.




And that my friends, is the beauty of a community.

I pretty much never utilize ignore lists. Not for message boards, not for instant messengers, not for video games. It's easier for me to skim posts and mentally filter out the trash... and that way I won't miss it if someone says something worthwhile for a change.

But right now, I'm contemplating bumping Eating_Scarlett and Brinnie from my mental list to my actual ignore list... just because I don't think they'll ever make worthwhile reading material.

And for the record, I'd love to see you try this philosophy in the real world, Brinnie. If you don't get along with someone at work, do you just stop talking to them? If a woman has an argument with her husband, should she just pretend he doesn't exist anymore? I guess that just fits in with the typical American mindset... if it shows no hope of converting to your belief system, you forget it exists.
