I watched one of those Discovery channel documentaries on anacondas the other night, and I can't get the way they mate out of my mind. When a female is in estrus (horny as hell), she has sex with as many males as she can, sometimes numbering a dozen or more... all at the same time. They had cameras underwater, showing this enormous, writhing, orgy of snakes. The narrator used the term "mating ball" to describe how the female anaconda mates. And this orgy can go on anywhere from several hours to several WEEKS!

Damn... watching that was sexy as hell. I have never, ever watched one of those nature documentaries and gotten turned on before. I'm not afraid of snakes, although I don't particularly like them, either... but watching a dozen or so 200 lb. snakes writhing underwater in ecstasy made me more wet and horny than most of the mindless porn I've seen.

I think I just really liked the male/female ratio

Tonight's question (or should I say this morning): Has anyone else ever become aroused by one of those documentaries? Fess up! I don't want everyone here to think I'm some kind of nutcase!

LOL, I just assumed the males kept jockeying for position, hence all the writhing turmoil... I never thought about it the way you described it!

I usually just close my eyes... and fall asleep. Documentaries are usually so boring, but not the anaconda one! Two thumbs up!
