It had been a good fifty years since the first contact war and not so long ago where commander Shepard gave his life to save them from the reapers. So people could finally settle down and actually have a life, all the species were able to become one united people. Old grudges were put away, and even though there was still conflict, nothing as terrible as the past. The Krogan now had a voice in galactic politics and a new home world.
But with the birth of freedom people learned about Shepard in school, Mark Shepard did have a daughter who never cared for military life. She had been so young when her father died, a one night fling ended up turning into something wonderful. Her mother spoke of Shepard as a war hero and everyone saw it as that as well. It made her smile to know such things, right now however everything was as it should be.
Eden Shepard was her name, she was now eighteen soon to be nineteen and was enjoying herself. Only one person in the galaxy seemed to understand her and it was a Turian. She graduated high school two years early, history was something she loved. She was glad to have someone understand her, perhaps because he could think outside the box. Anything was possible, but she saw him every day and enjoyed it.
She had been to Palaven and they were still building but there civilization was coming back to it's former glory. That was where they met as well, She had a translator for most languages like everyone. But she never needed one around Turians since she understood there language could even read it. She was at the Turian home world because she was studying culture and history for herself. Right now however things were as they should be.
Her hands in her black pants as she was off to meet her friend, he was a unique guy and was waiting for him like always. She was the only human currently there and was happy about it. Her blue eyes looked around as she began to wonder what all would happen today. Enjoying herself was one thing, but right now she watched everyone look at her every once in a while, huming a song to keep her mind at ease.
