Option 1 for me, please.
During the day, we are apart most of the time. We converted the second bedroom into an office, and I spend a healthy chunk of time in there studying. When I'm in there, my husband gets the entire downstairs to himself, complete with the TV, an internet connection, the living room, and the kitchen.
At night, we share one bedroom, and one bed. I have a hard time falling asleep if I'm not wrapped in his arms. And I've noticed no one has mentioned one of the great perks of sleeping in the same bed - instant access to yoru partner. I love waking up in the middle of the night and attacking him/being attacked.
