A few shrieks. Broken silence. The powerful, rhythmic impacts of bodies colliding from beyond his door. The Mansion is shy a maid for the day. Another from last night won't make it into work tonight. He's going to sleep for days soon. Other needs? They come first.

NO! It couldn't be.....could it? She even ran a finger inside her ear then listened again. There it was again. Definitely a shriek... or two. The sounds and the vibrations coming from her walls, through her floor/ceiling... she sighed, heavily.

Her eyes rolled toward the ceiling. He's back and from the sound of it, with a vengeance. Her fingers had been headed toward the desk lamp. Now, in light of this, they went to her rolodex. The edge of a nail flipped through the cards until she found the one she wanted.

The hiring service wasn't going to be happy to hear from her, of that she was sure.
 
Flowers sit across the counter in a storm of bright spring colors. Like a rolling wave of pastels, with greens tumbling into pinks, violets, and yellows - the sprawling arrangement covers the counter and communicates the thrilling, happy movement of new beginnings.

There's no doubt who they are for.

She came up from the basement, laundry basket balanced on her hip. She refused to allow the maids to do her laundry. It was just too personal a thing to her. It was interesting how two of her maids hadn't reported for work today. It wasn't anything new when Ice was back in house. Her eyes almost rolled upward but caught the sight vibrant color splashed across the bar counter. Walking over to investigate, she smiled. Setting the laundry basket on the floor, she gathered the riot of soft colors, her eyes admiring the picture they made and reflecting her appreciation of the man who knew women. She rummaged around under the counter and brought out a cut crystal vase to display his offering in.

It was nice to have him back. She had missed him. He was such an enigma. To many. To her..... well.... he was priceless.
