I am so skrewd. This whole damn March Madness thing is going to cost me 6 months worth of brownie points, plus some doghouse time to boot.

I'm a fan of Louisville in college basketball. Louisville is playing their first round game of the NCAA tournament this week in Nashville. A friend that I work with and I decided that we're going to drive to Nashville on Friday and get some tickets for the game Friday night. No big deal, Nashville is a little less than 2 hours from here.

We're all pumped about it. The only thing left to do is clear it with the local war dept.

My birthday is in a couple of weeks, and she was wanting to know what I wanted just the other day. I came home and told her that I wanted to go to the UofL game this Friday in Nashville for my birthday. She got a really evil grin, and said it was okay.

The grin kept going for awhile, and it was really bugging me. I knew something was up. I pressed the issue a little. She finally said, "Friday is the 18th, right?"

Our 10 year anniversary....................

Some of you know the irony of all of this. LOL

You are so screwd, Wildcard. Mutha fuck. Condolences, man.

Basketball is MUCH more important than marriage.

Plan on hitting any of the drag clubs while you're there?
Not quite my scene. 1/2 geek and 1/2 redneck doesn't work for that setting. ;)

Good choice, since both marriages and sports are fleeting events, might as well partake in the one that is more enjoyable... :D (Yes, I meant sports)

I've always had more joy of women, even my wife, than sports. But I've been caught in the same cleft stick about other things.

Manchester united Vs Everton on Mr and Mrs EL's wedding anniversay.

both there on different sides of the stadium and unless it's a draw, one kinda defeated/deflated partner. Who's gonna be mistress/master that night eh?

*ping*

I think I just created a story idea *L*

Oh man you are so screwed, and not in a good way. Hopefully the game will be worth the hot water.

On the other hand I am continualy in hot water. I work on the weekends so I tape both races. (Saturday and Sunday) then watch them on Tuesday, back to back. Drives my wife nuts. Wednesday however is dedicated to doing whatever she wants so it kind of evens out. (I get the strangest looks when I show up at Art Museums wearing Jeans, boots, vest and hat. ) My wife is glad that they don't show AMA Superbike races down here. Otherwise I would be taping that as well.

Good luck my friend, lets hope the scars are hidden.

*HUGS*

I know it's not funny, but I am still giggling. Sounds like something you read in those funny emails people send.
