Never been much for tea. Evenin, Brit...everyone else who may happen to wander in.
 
*glances around a bit shyly, being new and all... waves and sits down with her own cup of tea*

Hello, everyone. Nice to meet you all, my name is darkangel76. Though you may refer to me as DA, Dark, Angel or anything that seems to fit. How are you all this fine day?

*sips her tea, eyes a plate of strawberries, takes one and smiles*
 
Plops down in a recliner, stretches out, props his feet up, and sips from his wine class, eyelids sagging slightly. Evening....think I'll be falling asleep here forthwith.

an elven hand claps him on the shoulder. "Well now, there's a face I haven't seen in like, 2 years. How's it going Noon? Have I been out of touch that long, when did you return?"

Smiles over at DA, for of course they've already met.

Raises a sleepy eyebrow to give him a half-grin and then nods. Well I was on a hiatus here that lasted almost a year. I guess I've been back around for a little over a month. But then, I'm out of town right now and roadtripping it, so logging in from the hotel to just peek around.

He gives him another tired nod. For some reason I can't seem to ge to sleep yet despite feeling echausted. And how are you?

"A month, that explains it. I think my last fvsit was some 2 or 3 months back. Yeah I'm exhausted too. I wanted to churn out at least one post before I went to sleep, but its a real mammoth of a post and its coming out of me kicking and screaming, I've been nursing it for 2 days... But, I have to write from like 3 character's point of view, so I guess that's really like 3 posts in one..." he returns the nod, "So I am doing alright, tired as you are, but for me it seems too early to go to sleep myself."

Well my sleep schedule has been pretty fucked for months going on, now. Not much to be done with it. I owe one post, but I suppose it will survive if it I put it off one or two more days-my co-writer knows that I'm on the road at the moment. I've been taking various things to help me sleep, but can't do anything right now. When I take a unisom, it seems to leave me groggy most of the next day. At the very least I'm awfully slow to get moving in the morning. I could just take a melatonin, but all that does is help me feel more sleepy, and I'm already there.

Well, good to see familiar faces around, at least. I guess it's time for me to slip away into the night, like I do. Hopefully tomorrow will be better for me since I'll be back at home.

Gives seven a quick grin as he sees her. Glad to hear that you enjoyed yourself. And I'm happy to actually be around where I can talk to people here, instead of driving. So what did you do with your weekend? Chuckles playfully.

As for myself, I'm still feeling pretty tired, but with nothing to do except for eat and sleep the rest of the day, I'm getting fairly relaxed for now.

I have heard of a thing, I think. What is it they call it? "Iced-tea?" That sounds odd, but intriguing.

Tepid black tea is good on a hot day. I just leave it too cool a bit. I don't like iced tea either.

Yes, iced tea is actually a very different thing from actual tea. There are specialty teas that are made for brewing for iced tea rather than as cups of hot tea. But then, I typically have no issues drinking hot beverages on hot days-it doesn't make me any more hot.

Also, hello seven. I don't know if we've met formally, but we're both around. Hope you've had a pleasant day. winks at her.

I've been all over the Lounge-also having my phone blown up with text messages from my friend who is thrilled that her man is back in town from Bolivia. Shrugs and sighs. I didn't think I'd be so busy when I got settled in.

It's a great film. Based on a play, but it basically codified the courtroom drama as it came to be recognized on TV later. I've always been a big fan of that. Jack Nicholson plays a very awesome pissed off marine.

Sneaks up on Tess, grinning, and gives her a quick poke in the side before nipping at the back of her neck and slipping away. She's not nearly so good at sneaking around as she needs to be. Evening to you, lovely.
 
yes. I just love his rant at the end of the movie. "You can't handle the truth!. I didn't know it was a play originally though. That's really cool."
