I was just discussing how nice a few images in my head would be with certain very shy women and a rather interesting Miss... and how if it never gets written it would be a shame indeed!

I come from the school of thought that almost everything is a stage. I'm sure that seems silly. You can substitute stage for almost any analogy, though. With every individual you interact with, you change something about yourself. You put on a different face. You step up on a different stage. Even the thoughts inside your head, your stream of consciousness. What is on stage in your mind is constantly shifting, ever fluctuating, and as you grow, you actually start changing the stage itself. So, maybe what are just dreams for you on one stage, will be more than that on another. I guess what I'm saying is don't always abandon dreams. I would be in a very different place right now if I didn't hang onto some of mine. Others you either learn are completely unreasonable (like me wanting to become an astronaught) and you abandon them for something a little more obtainable, or you change and realize its not what you want anymore. Your mind and heart have a way of being able to tell you which ones are for keeping

oh i`ve written it twice now i keep having to stop and shower cold ones as it goes though the stuff that gets written and the characters in this lounge that participate without knowing.. wont get to see them as in both cases they exceeded the guidlines of this forum.. WEG

We all have our fantasies, some with strangers, some with characters or movie actors...some with people of closer acquaintance...and we're all allowed to have them but if we think they might make those involved uncomfortable, we keep them to ourselves. Don't you think?

My point was that maybe veiled hints and 'phrasing' would be better kept to yourself, perhaps wasn't as clear as it could have been. Because now I can think of at least two people who know you've been writing and thinking of them and might, as a result, feel awkward.

I'm not attempting to speak for anyone either, I want to be clear on that, but I think unless those involved ask you outright, and in public? Don't tell the rest of us.
That said if they do ask, please don't try to dance around with words...just be honest.

Yeah, you know, you're kinda navigating a whole new culture. It is deceptively like what you're used to, but there are subtle differences, and it's common for new people to not know where the boundaries are. You live and you learn.

The key to surviving lit is to be able to handle your own emotions in a way that is even and to recognize when you get too worked up about something. Step back, give yourself a bit of time, then when it passes it's all better and you've grown. Dramatic gestures, however, only add to anything that may or may not be an issue.
