The Long Wait

My wife and I went to a wedding a couple days ago for the daughter of some friends. She and her new husband are both 20 years old and I am almost 100% convinced she at least was a virgin and maybe he was too. Rumor even has it that they didn’t even share their first “real” kiss until that moment at the wedding ceremony. And it’s not like they went after each other like wolves either, it was just a simple kiss. Has anyone out there actually waited to have sex until their wedding night much less kiss? I really can understand waiting to have sex until you get married, even though that didn’t work out at all for me, but it’s the kissing part I just can’t get over. I’ve had sex with around 20 women, but I’ve completely lost track of how many I’ve kissed since the age of 15.

I know! The only thing I can think of is that they were so strongly committed to retaining their virtue, that they considered kissing as too much of a gateway to other things…
