The Living Works of Art Challenge

Finally getting a chance to get caught up. Some great shots in here on the last couple challenges, guys, really well done!

Nice job, gantastical. Very well done.

And because I was so tardy with the last pose, I'll get the present challenge done now. I would guess that many looked at Tiberinus and first thought he had quite a huge........cornucopia. Rome gets quite an abundance from its river. Here in St. Louis, we sit at the confluence of two rivers, the Missouri and the Mississippi, but the river gods have not provided much from their stores to our Cardinals (another loss tonight to the Pirates). These gods each need to set aside his cornucopia and pick up a bat, thereby putting lightning in the Cardinal bats that they may smite the Pirates. Thus, my rendition of the two river gods: Missourinus and Mississippenis.

When I saw the cornucopia, I expected a baseball bat substitution from you and was not disappointed. As always, your interpretations are creative.

Here is my River God interpretation. I puzzled on what to do for the cornucopia, since I didn't seem to have any handy. At random, I chose a 30" breaker bar from my assortment of tools in the garage. There is no significance to that choice.

So you were pitching that suggestion to me? Thanks for putting it right down the middle of the plate.

And may I say your pose goes well in the sculpture garden of the museum. Good to see you're back too.

That's a clever approach to that photo and who'd have though a breaker bar could become a cornucopia. You always make these LWoA challenges look easy. Great job and kudos!

And I always enjoy having you see the posts.

If you and the others start chasing me, I might have to fake a sprained ankle to end the chase as early as possible.

I don't know what a breaker bar is but I like this one as a prop. Nice pose by the model too of course.

Fantastic pictures guys. It took me a while to scroll back.

Good luck JR and a speedy recovery
