The Lit Sisterhood Thread

Inspired by Black_Bird's 'Brotherhood' thread, I'd like to take this chance to create an environment for the women of Lit to get to know each other better, and to salute those women who you think deserve some positive attention.

I'd like to put a small spotlight on Alexandraaah. She's always been kind to me, she's levelheaded, has a lovely mouth, and from what I've heard from a mutual friend of ours, is sweet, caring, and an all-round wonderful woman.

hmmm isn't this why Black_Bird started his thread for he feels we are already bonded as women.

I would like to give a shout out to my tatoo sister perky_baby. Her perkyism and life's out take have helped others. Kiss and hugs featherduster.

I know there are many other women here I have admired from their thoughts and words. Hmm and so many men I have lusted but this is about the women so that is another thread.

I know BB thinks all the women are tightly bonded, but I don't think we are... I think that we are nice to each other, cus we don't necessarily see a point in being bitchy, and we embrace each other, but that doesn't mean we've bonded.

I nominate *goddess*emi* as the chica of the year.


I've known her for a little over two years now, spent time in her home as she has in mine.

Whenever I'm just unfuckinbelievably happy or sobbing like a kid, I know all I have to do is pick up that phone, dial her number and she'll comfort me with her words and even her silence, as she allows me to whinge on, is loving and caring. I've learned so much from her thoughts, her unbelievably quick wit, generosity of spirit and heart.

The woman that I had admired typing to me from the other side of the screen turned out to be one of my best friends IRL.

If I had to pick one teensy weensy gripe about emi it would be that she steadfastly refuses my charms and won't run away with me so we can make wet chick love for the rest of our existence.





btw - thank-you for giving me a place to tell how much I adore this lady.

Her kindness knows no bounds. This is one sexy chica with a giving heart bigger than the state she lives in.

I'm not good with this because I have no real experience to draw on, but I do embrace the whole "sisterhood" bit....vixen is my adopted daughter, gotta nod to her for her zest for living and her innocence that makes me smile, weed is the most classical, graceful woman I've ever encountered, Miss T is like a mirror image of me and is one that makes me feel her spirit through her words, and Caly is very uplifting to us all.
I miss Siren, just for being Siren.

jl is the one that gives me coffee spews every morning...so wide open and blunt, and I admire that.
