Well, it's good of you to drop in.Got plasmaball & pointless confused....veen too long
It was problematic. Some people posted links in their siglines to their facebook or myspace, and if you followed them it led to a lot of personal info on a network of people who posted here. Names, pictures, locations and so forth. It's good to have a firewall between one's erotic life and the rest of it. I don't fault people for finding it easier to pull the plug on Lit than to pull the plug on facebook, a lot less real life explaining to do.There was definitely an exodus when Facebook took off. I remember people talking about posting there, then others mentioning following them, and soon, a whoel circle of people would be gone.
I haven't thought of that name in forever! She was one of my faves.Does anyone know what happened to Poster of a Girl/poagie?

A lot of the people I was closest to, and myself included, stopped posting after getting into serious relationships. This place fulfils different needs for all of us.Lots of people seem to just stop posting

I know you weren’t judgingI'm not judging, just saying it was one of the reasons things slowed down here.
I think the interest in lit has faded for some.If they are on Facebook it should be easy to locate them if people are friends with them

I should've copyrighted that back in the day.
This. Plus, people were getting outted here quite a bit. It got to where you didn't know who to trust. If you knew people IRL, it was just safer to stick exclusively with things like Facebook. There was definitely an exodus when Facebook took off. A lot of people had their own little circle of friends. This was how Lint and Clique came about. A way for people to stay in touch with their friends.
Then social media took off. The need for an old fashioned posting board was no longer needed.
People’s lives changed, as well.
Ha it's bertdo I know any of you people?
