The last Vampire:

Time goes really slow when your waiting for something to happen. Anticipation grew with every beat of my heart. I know this might not last. It could be just a friendly lunch nothing more. Gosh she was so beautiful. Those eyes..those lips..that gorgeous body. I imagine her undressed again shivering. I think I will take the rest of the afternoon off.

I call up to the boss and make up some lie about meeting a client for lunch. Big money clients the boss always gives me the afternoon off to win over. Its not entirely a lie either. I do have a 10:45 appointment. Just not a lunch appointment. The appointment is brief. The papers I have prepared impress them immediatly. 11:00 I still have an hour... what do do?

I see a salon nearby and shrug. "Why not" I say to myself. I go in and get my hair styled with just enough time to meet with Oksana. My hair is curled softly around my face. I lose my red jacket, going bare shouldered. I tell the waiter to tell the young woman who comes in where I will be. I get a table on a private terrace. The terrace has lovely greenery and a fantastic view of the ocean. I sip on a glass of tea while I wait for my lunch guest.

draven:

OOC:how come im still in the night before and you 2 are into the next day already???

OOC: Hmmm... didn't even think about it ;) We'll make the day last a while so that our Vamp can catch up.

IC:

My dress swayed around my thighs as I hurriedly walked towards the small resteraunt. 11:45... a little early but I was anxious. I'd just get us a seat...

"Are you with Ms. Calhoun ma'am?"

The waitor suprised me and I half jumped before turning around. How did he know who I was meeting, was she here allready?

"She's waiting at a private table out on the terrace for you, would you like me to take you there?"

I smiled warmly,

"Certainly, thank you."

I brushed a curl of dark hair behind my ear as I followed him towards the stairs. I wore a short blue summer dress that reached down to about midthigh. It had always been my favorite but now I was thinking I should have dressed more... business like. Everyone was wearing short skirts, a blouse and a suit dress, and all the men were carrying briefcases. I get the feeling I don't belong as I get frequent stares from everyone I pass. I pull my soft white sweater tighter around my shoulders and head in glad for the privacy.

As I passed through the glass doors that led through to the terrace I immediately forgot all about the stares and my clothes. She was so beautiful, the soft breeze gently causing her hair to wave in the wind, long lashes, a gorgeous figure... who was I kidding. I wanted to tell her how lovely she looked, how glad I was to see her, and that we could meet for dinner, and how much I wished we could just run to her room right now together but it just came out...

"Hi."

The waitor pulled out my chair and I took a seat, looking around the table a bit, wishing I'd said those things.

"Would you like something to drink."

I thought about my wallet,

"Just a water please."

He nodded and quickly left, leaving us alone.

Draven:

OOC: :) thanx alot.

IC:i waited for him to become still."Come follow me," i said grabbing his shoulder."We must find a place to take my coffin," i said to him....

He shivered a few more times on the pavement before calming, his breathing was tense, harsh and loud. As he looked up through new eyes at the man before him, a subservient behavior he nodded a few times as he heard the order.

A smirk grew on the dark face and he pulled himself up to walk a couple steps behind his new master.

"Master... There is a wharehouse, no one uses... down the street a bit... no one goes there... it's where I stay occasionally... "

His voice was low and raspy now, the same but different...

Draven:

"good come we must fetch my coffin," i said already happy with my servant."then you must hunt for me a meal, and tomarrow we search for someone special,". i said.

I mouthed the name Oksana not knowing where it came from...

I nodded again and followed him to where his coffin would be.

"Yes Master... "

I noticed his mouth move but could not make out any words... nore could I read the shape... but I knew not to question him, it would be known in time.

draven:

I took him to the docks where i had arrived and to my quarters.I point to the coffin.I open my mind to the world to see if i can locate the girl who belongs to the name. Then i whisper "oskana,"right to her mind if she was in range to hear it...

Armand:

I followed him immediately and went hurriedly to pick up the coffin. Moving it to the back of the truck I then went to the front and hotwired it, ready for action. He was in a transe and I stayed at the truck not interfering...

Oksana: (last night)

It was the middle of the night, amid my imaginings of myself and the mystery woman, the gorgeous Alex entwined together kissing passionately. She pulled back and spoke. From her lips a voice, a different voice, deep and male, echoed forth... 'Oksana' it spoke my name, every syllable dripping with sensuality, lust, and want... I'd never heard my name spoken like that in my life... but the owner was not near... I tried to ignore it leaning forward to kiss her, it spoke again... She dissapeared, her form transforming to that of a dark figure, with pale elegant skin... The bed changed, melting into a foggy misty environment... water rushing in the background, cold gravel beneath my feet. The sounds of boats in the distance... i was at the docks.

Draven:

I closed my eyes while we were rideing in the truck.I entered her dream.I saw her standing on the dock and i aproached whispering her name again,"Oskana," then i point to the warehouse at the far off point like i was telling her mind to meet me there, then i smiled and faded out returning to consciousness...

I suddenly was awake, my eyes wide but unseeing... I felt calm... relaxed... the dream was disturbing but that didn't matter. A force deep dark... within my soal tugged at me and I found myself pulling a nightgown on and a thin coat, heading out.

It was bitter cold, but I didn't feel it, even through my thin clothes. I felt nothing, was this a dream, my feet led the way, seeming to know where they were going even though my mind had not yet realized. I was facing the whearhouse of my dreams... was this still the dream... it couldn't be, but everything was fuzzy. I stepped inside my eyes looking around, looking for something... but what.

I stood in the darkness watching her.she stands there for a while.I whisper in a low voice,"Your time is not at hand yet oskana,"."Its not time we met yet,but soon," i say.Tomarriw i will set a meeting for me at her i thought...

I nodded slowly and returned home, my feet frozen through the slippers, and now now I felt the chill... it must have been a dream, did I walk in my sleep. I saw the mud clingin to the fur in my soft pink slippers. My thin garments clinging to my sides against the wind. Tears came as the breeze stung my eyes, I hurried home. Hurried away from the dream... or whatever it was...

Draven

I watch her leave then i look out the window knowing the sun would be up soon.I turned to armand,"get some rest, then i want you to find out all u can on that girl," i said and climbed into my coffin...

Armand nodded quickly then curled up in one of the dark covers pulling his jacket around him for warmth.. dozing off quickly. He didn't dream that night, nothing filled him except the desire to serve his master.

The next morning he hurriedly went around the town asking everyone about Oksana researching finding out everything he could. He discovered she had a lunch date, crawling around the back of the resteraunt he watched in silence.

I watch her approach me dressed in a short blue summer dress that reached down to about midthigh. She looked gorgeous standing there with her emotions readable in her features. I wonder how long is polite before taking a lover home for a night of passion.

"Hi." she says. I am momentarily speachless as I watch her move into the chair the waiter pulls out for her.

"Would you like something to drink." the waiter says.

"Just a water please." I watch her lips move, imagine them on my body.

Pouring her water he bows and leaves closing the doors for privacy. I finally remember its my turn to speak.

"Im not very hungry myself." I take a sip of my drink watching her.

"I had to talk to you again after i ran into you last night. I couldnt believe you lived in the same complex and weve never met before. You are gorgeous. Im sorry for being so forward but you have really knocked me off my feet." she blushes slightly.

"Im sorry if I am rambling on and on."

Her eyes seemed locked on me as I moved, and I shifted uncomfortably under the intense scrutiny. Not that I'm complaining, I wouldn't mind roving my eyes over those exquisite features... preferably without the suit. I smiled greatfully at her compliment, flushing deeply. She'd noticed me, comparatively I wasn't anything.

"I don't know if I can believe that. I mean, I'm really nothing, you're absolutely stunning..."

I half giggled trying not too look too childish.

'Im sorry if I am rambling on and on.'

My mind raced and I took a breath before trying, outgoing wasn't ever my strong point, and blunt was usually something I was not.

"I can't explain it, but I've been thinking about this all night. Thinking of nothing but you... I've never done that before..."

Draven

As i slept my mind kept ending up on her.I hoped armand would bring back useful information.i seized part control of his mind seeing he was in the resturant with her.I made him stop and write a small message on a napkin then walk past her and drop it into her lap.

"Dont ask any questions just be at the rave tonight, and bring your friend to,"
signed D

the rave was a dance club off the street the dock was on.Im sure shes be there. Then i sent him back to the back quietly watching to find out everything about her

"I don't know if I can believe that. I mean, I'm really nothing, you're absolutely stunning..."

She giggles in the most adorable way before speaking again.

"I can't explain it, but I've been thinking about this all night. Thinking of nothing but you... I've never done that before..."

Just as I am about to tell her shes wrong a man walks up, drops a note written on a napkin in front of my guest and leaves.

"What does it say?" I ask as she picks it up and reads it.

I look at the note confused my eyes turning and following Armand, I didn't recognize him.

'What does it say?'

I look down holding the napkin up,

"Dont ask any questions just be at the rave tonight, and bring your friend to,"

I paused,

"And it's just signed D...."

I look back towards where Armand had dissapeared,

"Who was that?"

The Rave. That was that nightclub down the street, I'd been there maybe once or twice, never able to pull off being a social butterfly well. He was handsome, but nothing compared to the beauty in front of me... I wasn't sure I wanted to go, I was half hoping we'd end up in bed all evening having dinner delivered over... but something drew me to go... I look up and shrug, smiling softly as I see her inquiring eyes, wide and a such a gorgeous color... to use a cliche' I could get lost in those eyes, so beautiful...

"That could be fun... are you interested?"

"Dont ask any questions just be at the rave tonight, and bring your friend to,"

"How strange.. whos it from?" I ask her curiously.

"And it's just signed D...."

She follows the mans retreating form with obvious confusion.

"Who was that?"

"I have no idea." Maybe hes this D guy I think.

She looks up and shrugs at me. Watching me with a desire of the likes I had seen only once before. In the eyes of the woman who left me for a man. "Its just buisness" she had said. Rebecca du Shane... I doubted I would ever see her outside the office again. How I missed the nights we shared.

"That could be fun... are you interested?" she says bringing me out of my thoughts.

"Sure why not... I am not usually this blunt but..." I bite my bottom lip nervously. Could I risk asking so soon? But I couldnt help it.

"Would you like to go back to my place for a while. Maybe order chinese and.. eat when we get hungry."

.'Sure why not... I am not usually this blunt but...'

My heart stopped... this was probobally good... but it could be bad.... I wrang my hands together, childishly crossing my fingers under the table. She looked nervous... afraid of being rejected... or afraid of offending me... I wasn't sure. But this was it...

'Would you like to go back to my place for a while. Maybe order chinese and.. eat when we get hungry.'

My heart lept in my throat, and my face flushed 3 degrees of red. I half grinned looking shyly at her under my lashes,

"I would love to... I was hoping you'd ask."

The waitor returned asking if we're ready to order, I passed a sly look over your way and shook my head.

"I think we changed our minds, can you just bill us for the drink?"

Lexi Colhoun

She ducked her head blushing and yet grinning as well. I felt like doing the same thing myself. I felt foolish and yet wonderful. Id never asked to brazenly.

"I would love to... I was hoping you'd ask."

The waitor returned asking if we're ready to order. Looking at my slyly she replys to the waitor.

"I think we changed our minds, can you just bill us for the drink?"

The waitor looks calm and cool if slightly irritated. I know how to fix that.

Waitor- "Its on your tab madam Colhoun. Will there be anything else?"

I stand grabbing my jacket. Our condos are not far about 3 blocks away. "Just this for your patience." I hand him a $20 and he opens the door for us with a sweeping bow. I look back at Oksana.

"I think we could walk back along the beach if you want?" We exit the Sea Turtle. On path leads to the beach the other sidewalk straight to the condo.
