I miss it and recently started re-watching episodes on Netflix when I need something to watch, laugh and not have to pay too much attention to. of course last season was lame ... even if a couple of the characters were kind of cool.

Okay, I'll have to order that so I'll Hawaiian Punch for now. I'll put the blood in when it get here so there will be a few days where blood will taste fruity. Just to let you know.

Heh. I've gotten into the bad habit of making fun of movies I even like. It's even worse if I have a bit of the drink in me. I won't take offense if you slap me and tell me to be quiet.

Yeah, I tried to watch it but it just wasn't happening. Valiant effort and all, but.. no thank you.
I'm worried it'll be the same sort of thing with Community now that Dan Harmon is gone.

I do that too. I think it annoyed the person I watched a movie with last.

I don't know, he's just a writer (good but still). If an actor left or died like in Scrubs, Spin City, That 70s Show, and News Radio then there's room to worry.

I'll put a shot of liquor just for you. I could just make the punch darker to make it look like blood so it scares people if you want to keep. It would be cheaper.

He's the show runner, though..
It's the difference between, say, Jane Espenson leaving Buffy and Joss Whedon leaving Buffy.
I know technically Jane Espenson didn't leave Buffy, but came on later so she wasn't there in the beginning, but I think you know what I mean.

Mmm...yes, I have this habit too. I only become annoyed when it's a movie I haven't seen or if it's one I REALLY like, but even then I'll poke fun.
My brother and I are sometimes the worse to watch a movie with if we've had drinks and the movie sucks... we're our own MST3K.

Still not a bad thing, Simpsons went through many show runners even before the it went south. David Mirkin was my favorite show runner for The Simpsons.

Yeah, if it's like.. Amelie or City of God or something like that, I'm probably not going to be making jokes.
Or, if it's the first time I'm seeing something I'm excited to see..
But even then.. I saw the new version of The Day The Earth Stood Still (with Keanu "kung fu" Reeves) in the theater, and it was SO HARD not to mock the hell out of it. It was just so terrible.
Same for Transformers, too, which I rented but didn't see in the theater. And then didn't even bother to watch any of the others. Such terrible, awful film making.

I know what you mean! There are key writers that have the proper input to a show, who are the heart and if they leave you feel the hole they leave behind. It doesn't matter that there is a whole other writing staff still there.

The West Wing had, I believe, only two show runners... but there was a pretty clear difference in quality between them.
