Two reasons, one is the inevitable effect of gravity upon any object moving away from the mass exerting the gravitational pull.

The other is the nature of existing on a round planet with a large gravitational pull. Whatever is up for one is invariably down for another.

That is...disappionting (the movie was stupid...I mean, yeah, sexy girls...but it was like watching a whole bunch of JRPG cut scenes strung together).
The soundtrack, on the other hand...might be the best movie soundtrack since The Crow
