Do I hear angels singing now that my writings are falling into place?

When that handsome fella gets his voice down that low, it must be a resonant frequency with my tingly parts! Whew! I feel all 'melty'! ;)

Why is it that everyone seems to be under the impression that the woman on the roof in Ghostbusters is Gozer? She even says it right in the movie. She's his representative, his emissary, not Gozer himself....Even IMDB has her listed as Gozer, and she's NOT Gozer.

Can I watch you get over yourself? That should be amusing.

*Holds a mirror over his head, smiling up at the reflection* There, I'm over myself. *smirks*

Well then Good Fr33k, don't.

NO I don't wanna lift...ok, ok...put down the phone wench and go into the gym.

One hour...then you can stop. I promise...

BYEEEEEEE!!!

Me? Good? haHA! That's funny Luna....;)

Last thought: I wonder how many other masochistic submissive knitters there are in the world. Maybe I could start a club...

I know of at least one other, Illianacole. Me, I sew, but don't knit.

For some reason, I think the term Knitter means the same as nutter....crazy...two sandwiches shy of a picnic. a few fries short of a happy meal *holds up plate with ketchup and mustard smiley face, a la Jack O'Neill* WHACKO

Well, that's probably how I'd be if I tried knitting. :D

Oh, neat! Perhaps a crafty hobby club for subs. ;) I've always wanted to learn to sew, it seems like such useful knowledge.

I learned the hard way, buy starting out on making Barbie clothes for my niece. If you can do work that small, you can do full size human clothes easily! The only trouble with learning to sew is that everyone who knows you have that skill will want you to start hemming their pants, skirts, dresses, etc.

It is a handy skill though and helps me to be good at what I do at my job. I used to design my own patterns, so I understand how to imagine something in a flat pattern and also how it will look when it's formed up. It's not so different to imagine how a piece of aluminum panel would have to fold up to form around part of a building.

Oh, and I think my sub Sister crochets. That's kind of like knitting isn't it?

Yes, crocheting is actually used in knitting too: adding on pieces, tightening stitches, etc. Knitting's supposed to be harder (or so I've heard) so I thought I would learn this first and then try crocheting.

That's a good idea! I don't know where all of this craftiness has been coming from: the older I get the more I garden, knit, do projects in general. But I do have some nieces that would like custom tailored Barbie clothes...

Mostly I get people asking for Christmas sweaters.

Thanks for explaining. It is interesting how many of us have these little crafty skills. Maybe we find some outlet for creativity through these things, or maybe its something else.

Yeah, the doll clothes are fun but challenging. They require real tight seams, like 1/8th inch or less. Once you get used to working with that, a 5/8ths seam seems like all the room in the world!

Crafts are so relaxing! That's a big part of it for me... I haven't gotten very many complicated stitches yet so my knitting is pretty elementary, but still nice to do.

I guess I hadn't thought about the seams being so small but that makes perfect sense. I suppose the equivalent of that with knitting would be using teeny, tiny needles to make a little sweater. Maybe once I get the hang of knitting I'll try sewing.

Ah, RW calls. Thanks for the info, good to talk with you! :rose:
