Rorik stiffened. "I've been protecting my sheep ever since I was eleven summers, and I've lost nary a one. Don't be worried about me." He knew himself to be slight of build, but did not like being reminded of it by the pretty red head. He gave a speculative look at the slave girl hovering protectively over her dinner. Now there was one to be worried about. She was like a scared rabbit.
