Okay, I'm giggly with excitement and just had to share. While the paperback of my novel, "The Usahar" is sitting at an Amazon sales rank of 1,417,800, the e-book version went up to about 250,000 yesterday and when I checked this morning had jumped up to a ranking of 52,586!

So yay, hooray, and thank you!

Congratulations.

Looks like this "internet" thing the kids are talking about might work out after all.

from "The Usahar"

This frightened her. She sat alone in her cell and pondered this.

I need John?

He showed me dignity.

No. He is an Usahar. You kneel before the Usahar, naked, as their slave. They take you. They use you. It doesn’t matter that it feels good, doesn’t matter how rich and sensual it is, doesn’t matter how perfectly or how many times you climax. You still are just doing what they want, what the Adhal want.

The questions came despite her best efforts to avoid them.

John is one of those who made you a slave, who took you from your home. How can you need him? How can you want him?

After all the things the Usahar have made you do, how can you say you care for one of them?

Elizabeth lowered her head, wrapped her fingers behind her neck.

I don’t know. But I do.

He wasn’t an Usahar. Not there at the end. He was something more.

It's been a good week. The Usahar e-book dropped back to about 370,000, but this morning had jumped back to #59,346.

Yay, little e-book!

Congrats Karen.

Now I just have to figure out someway to get published. :(

Keep pushing the envelope as you have been, Rob, and you will. I get the impression you're just getting warmed up.

:)

Congrats Karen. Are you getting advertising for your e-book now that you've started hitting the big-leagues?

Well, I'm wearing a smile today. After slipping back to about #475,000 at Amazon, my little e-book has now hopped its way up to #43,695.

This is becoming a pattern. A good pattern. But I'm wondering if this is normal for e-books. Anyone here have any experience with this sort of thing?

Anyway, time for a little nana dancing...

Congrats, I remember reading part of that when submitted here.
It's good.
