The job or her?

Average guy Bob gets interviewed by Erica, she's really atractive and around his age. He thinks he did great because he really got along with Erica. They find out they went to the same college. They have a lot in common. They were finishing each others sentences, etc.

Erica brings him in for a final interview and says, "You've got the job." He's ecstatic because he needs a job and this one is his dream job. Erica continues with a curve ball. "How would you like to go out sometime, on a date." She says bluntly. There is no second guessing Bob says yes he likes her personality, looks etc. But then Erica continues, "Before you say yes, we have a strict no dating policy here, it's either the date or the job."

From there I don't know. I think I have Bob take the job. What do you think?

B) He tells her that he can get a different job, but doesn't want a different girlfriend, he wants Erica.

I love this. It would be good to throw in some conflict like she's pissed he took the job over her at first. Weeks go by until he hands her a resignation letter. She forgives him and they hot sex in the parking garage. or he resigns while running into her at there old college's home cuming.

there is a story on lit along these lines....but the couple is living together. the gf goes out on dates to prove she's "single" and ends up liking it....and of course she has sex....
