The Jeffinator's Lounge

Cool. I talked to both Richard Kuta and Dave Meinstein about various things. Sadly, Dave told me the Portal remake was a no go. On the up side, GameStop is hiring. I applied for Store Manager, Assistant Manager, and Game Advisor. CVS, Walgreens, UPS, and Wal-Mart aren't hiring though. I'm currently waiting to see about GameStop, Albertson's, and a corporation for which I applied to be a mail room receptionist. If these don't work out, I'm going to try Target, JC Penny's, Dillard's, and a few other places.

That sucks. What about a different version of it with new characters. Oooooooooooh Gamestop. *gives Jeff a kiss for luck*

Nah. I'm just going to stick with original stuff for now. Once I get set up in my apartment, I'm gonna try and recruit an artist via DeviantArt, and maybe Craigslist. Richard Kuta said that if you sign up for IMDb Pro, you get all kinds of Hollywood contacts via email and phone numbers. Maybe I'll try to pitch an idea to them for a cartoon about Avatars after the webcomic has been up for a while. I'll need to go to LA though to do it. Maybe our studio team could go together :).

Sounds good. Though I think when we start working (and thus earning money) we should put some dough into a savings account so the trip isn't an out of pocket expense for each of us. You know? I mean, you can't count on the business getting a credit card.

Oh, I completely agree. Basically, I'd use half of all profits to pay our salaries, and the other half would go into a savings account in the company's name so that interest would build. And yes, any business related trips would be paid for by the company, and included as tax deductions :). Out of the 50% for payroll, I'd keep 10% for myself, 10% for the artist working on the webcomic, and the other 30% would be used to pay for any other staff, their salaries depending on their duties. This could change since it's still so early, we'll just have to wait and see.

Step One: Get a job.
Step Two: Get an apartment.
Step Three: Get a license and car; find an artist for Avatars.
Step Four: Publish Chronoquest and use the profits to fund the studio, most likely to be called Zialaga Productions.
Step Five: Hire the staff and decide the future.

What the FUCK!!! Dammit, every fucking job that was open has been filled. People are desperate for jobs around here, and every single fucking place I have called today says they have done all the hiring they're going to do for a while. I even tried a few places that would be one hell of a bike ride, but every single fucking thing was a no go... Dammit... What the fuck am I gonna do?

I has Xenosaga 2 now...and it is GOOD. Those idiots badmouthing it have no clue what they're talking about.

I know what you mean jeff...I recently signed a contract for my house next year and my rent starts coming out on 1st september (£280 a month) and i have no money whatsoever for it....The only reason i'm surviving atm is becuase i'm with my parents...

Nowhere wants to hire me...

Damn, I finally find an artist who likes my ideas....but I hate her style of Drawing....AAArrgghhh

I so envy you Jeff.

This video was so adorable, it made me cry -- literally. I saw it on the Today Show, then watched it on YouTube. Both times, I was laughing and crying at the same time, lol. The first time, it caught me off guard, lol. I rarely ever shed tears, but when I saw this video, it was just so cute and happy, I couldn't help it, and the tear ducts just started pouring, lol.

*sighs* Blockbuster seems to be giving me the runaround too, and my stepmom is giving me hell because I can't find a job. With no other choice, I have asked my old boss if she'd fly me back out to Wyoming and I'd pay her back double the ticket fare straight from my check... Still waiting on a reply... *hates his life*

I don't suppose any of my fellow Lit Family members would let me stay with them for a while? lol.
