Rioter pardoned by Trump convicted of conspiracy to murder FBI agents

Edward Kelly, a January 6 rioter pardoned by Donald Trump last January, has been sentenced to life in prison.

He was convicted of planning the assassination of FBI special agents investigating his role in the Capitol insurrection.

Federal prosecutors described Kelly as a man "remorseless" for his actions. Calling himself a "patriot", he allegedly organized paramilitary exercises, planned his operation in detail and drew up a hit list of federal agents.

there's been some noise about a bad actor using AI to impersonate marco rubio on Signal calls and texts to at least 5 different officials...

and it may well be the case. However, being me, the thought had to cross my mind that (just perhaps) it wasn't an impersonation but actually rubio on there saying stupid shit (passed down from trump or others pulling strings) that got such a bad response from the people targeted that the AI claims had to swiftly appear in the public perception.
