The Isolated Political Blurt Thread

I am sure he could pass lie detector tests easily. In his mind, he is telling the truth. Whatever comes out of his mouth at any given moment is absolutely his truth. If he says something totally different five seconds later, that that moment is his absolute truth. He truly believes everything he has never lied. He can't lie, he is always right.

"... the union singled out New York Republicans who voted to gut the Affordable Health Care Act — which includes veteran Congressman and frequent friend of labor, U.S. Rep. Peter King.

The Long Island politician was one of seven local Republicans who supported their party’s push against Obamacare.

The other U.S. Reps. are Lee Zeldin from eastern Long Island’s 1st district, John Faso from the Hudson Valley’s 19th district, Elise Stefanik from the 21st district in northeast New York, Tom Reed from the Finger Lakes’ 23rd district, Chris Collins from western New York’s 27th district and Claudia Tenney from central New York’s 22nd district.

Claudia Tenney avoided attending town halls, where she would have heard from the voters that need Obamacare to stay alive.

Yesterday, when I tried to google the Alexandria shooting, I was overwhelmed by the gruesome results of gun violence.

Japan is still pursuing a new law- Do not chat on smart phone about staging a protest, to prevent a (harmful, poisonous, dirty, unethical) business from moving into your community. Anti-business activities are open to prosecution.

Topping the Japanese restrictiveness- June 14 in a final attempt to stall moves by the ruling coalition to pass controversial anti-conspiracy legislation in the waning days of the current Diet session.

I agree 100%.

It will be what convicts him because he'll slip up giving sworn testimony and be held in contempt.

Better Trump as POTUS than Pence. Like better Hitler leading Nazi Germany than Rommel. Better the incompetent nutbar than the sane calculating professional. Trump could very well be an anchor slowing down right wing changes to US society. Pence will be able to steadily increase the rate of change. Trump might be able to set race, gender and orientation issues back a generation. Pence will undoubtedly be able to. YAY TRUMP!

So true!

Looks like Trump's secret plan to get rid of ISIS was to let Russia do the job.

Russia claims to have taken out Abu Bakr al-bagdhadi in May.

Wells Fargo became infamous for stealing from their customers

Wells Fargo now accused of running scam on homeowners in bankruptcy

June 16, 2017

Making “stealth modifications” to mortgage plans without customers’ permission.

Wells Fargo went about this by sending the clients an apparent form letter implying they could lose their home if they didn’t accept changes to their payment plan.

"As is well-known, Martin Luther King Jr. had been planning a return to the site of his famous “I Have a Dream” speech in Washington, this time to lead a Poor People’s March emphasizing nagging class inequalities. Following his assassination, it was left to others to carry out the plan, among them his best friend, the Rev. Ralph Abernathy, and his widow, Coretta Scott King. When it became clear that the Poor People’s March was falling short of its goals, the organizers decided to cut it short on June 19, 1968, well aware that it was now just over a century since the first Juneteenth celebration in Texas."
