When I first took up painting for a living I got paint all over me. Now unlucky to get a couple of drips on me. There is a guy who will paint your whole house in a tuxedo. And if he gets any paint on the tux the job is for free.

Don't overload your roller. Don't let it spin freely. When moving it have it turn over a couple of times.

Need work ?

STEVE INSKEEP, HOST: Good morning, I'm Steve Inskeep with an opportunity for python hunters. South Florida officials tell The Tampa Bay Times they are hiring 25 people to kill the snakes in the Everglades. The job pays just over eight bucks an hour plus a bonus. If you kill a python, you are paid by the foot. The state web page with frequently asked questions says you must have a clean record, no wildlife-related offenses.

Can you use a firearm? Yes. Can you bring in the pythons live? No.

Those were the days. One could get a job through a matchbox and not sucking balls of every knobdick from HR on up.

I'd like to learn to draw or paint.

I wish I could draw too. That is a true born with skill, I think. Been trying to draw things like horses since I was a kid. Still suck at it. I might have an artistic streak but it doesn't extend to accurate drawing. :( Took art all through school. Didn't teach me to draw. Gained an appreciation for art history but not the mechanics of it.

Guy who taught me to carve can draw anything free hand and proportional. My carving drawings were more draftsman style than artist.
