Hey! I did not get pie yesterday.

Who is in charge of such things?

I wish to register a complaint.

That's so sad. We have had a few years where late frosts take the fruit, especially stone fruit, and all I can offer is that it makes other years' fruits sweeter.

It got down to 23 last night. It's still only 25. We had a month in the 70s and 80s. I knew it was a disaster in the making. But as you say, next year will be even sweeter.

Rats! That was pretty much inevitable - but STILL blows dead goats. :(

I have peach blossom. Our peaches, when we get them, are small but sweet and G is obcessed with making peach cobbler. Come here and have some in summer?

I suddenly feel all warm and cozy ... and hungry! :cattail:

We'll have some late peaches from some local farms, but this kinda freeze really hurts.

My mother goes to Colorado every year around the peak of Colorado peach season. She always brings home a case or two. I eat those fuckers like a boss!

It might get up to 25°F this afternoon. Been a great winter here.

I just saw a tshirt on etsy that has ' pizza and anal' emblazoned on it. I cannot help think this is a great outfit for wearing for seeing my in laws. Shame it's too late.

:D:D:D

i decided to leave the biggest trunk out the front, laying down against the hedge, but everything else from the front is through and ready to feed the fire. just raked over the embers under the foot-deep pile of ash left from tuesday night's fire. they were still glowing!

You've become an axe-wielding Viking... I have paint spattered in unmentioned places.

Harrumph!

more a saw than an axe, and this stuff was already cut down well before winter - just had to saw a few chinks into smaller lengths. the big trunk was just too much effort for the now half-blunt little hand saw :)

ha, that stuff gets everywhere. used to get so much in my hair i now wear a scarf or a pair of clean knickers on my head when i paint, specially ceilings!
