The Isolated Blurt Thread

I can't go in kbate's thread. I'm too tall, I'm not lesbian enough, and I love kitties too much.

And that's why you push in with pocket bitches.

Stop the donkeys from drawing.

Sounds more like he had AQ, drew A and maybe another Q. Said couldn't make pocket Q(?) and aces got beat.

Either way if bluffing or have premium pair don't let some fucker river you. Bet big or get out. Two pair 2-7 will beat pocket aces.

It was pocked Queens against Pocket Aces, but all the money didn't go in until the flop.

The Hand went like this:
1/2 cash game I open for 10 in middle position, Button raises another 21 and I call. Ten Jack x flop. I check, button bets, I raise, he shoves and I call. Turn is an 8 giving me a straight draw, any 9 or any Queen gives me the pot. River was a blank.

noor, switching back and forth from the General board to the Lounge, reminds me of the Fringe series.

I half expect to see Dr. Walter Bishop, or his "Walternate." Olivia and "Fauxlivia."

I have fallen for a Danish kakkelovn which stands tall - at 5' 7". I have found several others from the same factory (which shut down in 1907) and they are being priced at 7 to 12 thousand kroner. The one I'm hoping to buy is being sold for just 500 kroner and the owner has simply used it as a place to burn tea lights or column candles. She will not ship so I am frantically trying to find a way to get them across the country to me before she realises her mistake and hikes the price! Mine does not have a gold crown but if possible - I'd like to give it one. I'm settling for one of these since I cannot realise my dream of having a giant glossy white Swedish tile one. I love columnar stoves <3

Reminding self that it's way too easy to get sucked into the same time-wasting shit you did last year and the year before that and the year before that...knowing you need to flip it up before you look at another decade of, "is that what I did with my casual time?" It's somewhat fun in the moment, but you eventually keep going in no-calorie circles with certain people and things.

Just like an old woolen scarf, gotta cut away the needless fringe shit and errant loose threads dragging you down!

Fringes can be cool, don't get me wrong, but sometimes they're too long.

Very nice.

I hope you sort it soon!

*looks at Tinkersquash's find*

Oooooo! I would love one! The ones avaiable to me are so plain and industrial.

Get IFB to come with us and let's hire some thing and make it a road trip . :)
That would be so much fun, and I am certain one day it will be entirely possible for an adventure together. I'm working as hard as I can right now to make sure it happens. Can't wait to squeeze the bejeesus outta both of you!

Very nice.

I hope you sort it soon!
Hi GS - nice to meet you! Thank you. I do hope I can manage it. I think a couple of my girlfriends are willing to make the road trip for me. The factory which produced these stoves was called Godthaab which translates to Good Hope. I really like that.

There are some beautiful ones out there. I saw one like mine but it was all glossy white with a golden crown and golden fixtures and doors. So pretty but much too regal for my humble home.

I took a major hit in a tournament. When I could not toss an K high flush. Even though the guy before me lit up like a Christmas tree when the flush came up. He went all in, I called. I knew he had the A. He glowed he was so happy. He came out chip leader. I had it by a large margin until that K high flush.

Time to go have some fun being Grandpa.

It's going to be a great Saturday!

Long weekend up here. Monday is National Family Day. Newish holiday up here. Took them awhile to come up with a reason for a long weekend in the middle of winter.

zumi, the trend is fading. long, swinging fringe, on everything. Caught in revolving doors, sliding doors of the subway cars. Sitting on someone else's fringe. Fringe in puddles. Must move fast to get out of the cold, wind, and snow.

Sigh, the idea is we could make it less hard work for you :)

I love that it's good hope too! Perfect for you bright soul!

I love columned stoves. I'd love to squeeze one in our garden room but I think the venting would be too hard :(
You are so thoughtful! I couldn't make the drive because it is too long (close to 7 hours round trip). It's possible you'd have fun making the drive - but I wouldn't be with you - and that would definitely NOT be fun for me. :rose: Right now T has to learn if she can take her husbands large car for the trip. Then T and R will have to go over their schedules together - and then even agreed-upon times and dates may have to be changed depending upon when the seller is home. This is all planning which I can not take part in so I'm restless and fidgety.
