I use to be a bit of a speedy girl. I broke the speedometre on both mine. One day my father followed me on a motorway telephoned me and told me I better slow down and what speed I was doing. I have never find that fast in any other car.

I also got a ticket going uk hill in my 2cv which j could not pay because j had moved and my papers were off having the address changed so it ended up in court and got laughed out, even though I was quite prepared to pay it. No one would believe it.

I never speed now and shudder at my childish selfishness,

I just use Siri these days.

M uses Siri when we are driving here and we are in hysterics over her pronunciation of Danish street names. He's been working his way towards speaking Danish for some years now and can fully understand how hilarious it sounds. Sometime, it is so far off the proper pronunciation I can not understand it. The word for street is "vej" and pronounced VYE. Siri pronounces it VEDGE!

It is not raining today and I am really tempted to make the trip to the shopping center to buy a bagel sandwich. When bagels first came to this city I was so excited! But they are not New York style, which I love. When you chew, they do not chew back. Still, they are a a great vehicle for laks and cream cheese. There used to be a grocery store bagel I loved -onion flavour. It was speckled with soft bits of caramelised onion and the bits extruding from the surface would get crispycronchy when toasted. I miss those. I've never been a fan of the Everything bagel because the parts are lesser than the sum...and I really like the parts.

Has anyone here had success making their own?

How old? Mine is a 2000 TJ sport. A modest build on 33's. I think I may be selling it soon. I get a lump in my throat when I think about it too long though. Lotsa good times in that tub.

It's a 1986 CJ7. It's been languishing in a field for 20 years. She's taking a ton of sweat equity to get her resurrected.

Nice! I spent some of my single digit years and one or two of the teen ones in a 1980 CJ-7. It had the 304ci and dig this....A/C AND an automatic transmission. We eventually traded it in on a Grand Wagoneer. That was a bitchin truck but it was too switch-fancy with power windows and seats that would fail. I'd restore one of those. I dig it in white, tint the windws and who knows who could be inside? ...Liberace, or maybe an uptown pimp.

Just paid for the stove. There's another antique piece I'm looking at an hour south of where the stove is and my girls have agreed to pick it up as well. My two besties rarely get time to see each other and I am beyond excited to fund a road trip for them. They'll have hours of uninterrupted time to chat wth no kids or hubbies to think of. I'm gonna surprise them with a road trip picnic basket and if I can time it right - the blueberry muffins will still be warm when they bite into 'em! I'm so excited and I'm not even going with!
