that was an interesting google. I forgot that people actually bake real cheesecake instead of making the icebox desert that comes in a mix

1) he needs the money and by "campaigning" he can amass it legally

2) when "campaigning" he can control who is there, who is given tickets, as President he doesn't get that much control.
 


It blew like bloody fucking hell. We never shook out the second reef. That kind of constant wind can make people crazy. It was a relief to get out of it.

We spent one night anchored at an island with a population of 192. I should have checked to see if they have webbed feet and six toes. Yes, they've got electricity and four automobiles but the fact of the matter is that they're not that far from the Stone Age.

It's amazing to see the colossal differences between standards of living from island to island and wonder what societal/cultural characteristics led to such wildly different outcomes.

This is an unusual and fascinating photograph of Roger Federer. Virtually every photograph you will ever see of Federer hitting a tennis ball will show him looking intently at the ball. He's notorious for his intense focus on the ball (which is a critical and too frequently forgotten necessity). During an Australian Open match a commentator noted that Federer has the extraordinary ability to take his eye off the ball whilst serving to check to see if the receiver is guessing on the intended location of the serve by "cheating" to one side or the other. Receivers (particularly on a second serve) will frequently move in an effort to improve the likelihood of receiving the serve on their favored side. Federer's ability to take this glance is an amazing subtlety and one that I had not previously been aware of.
