Honestly, I'm not sure I'd mind that much. My teacher has been using straps a lot recently and it's quite fun and relaxing feeling slightly rope bunnyish in my lesson. He'd probably laugh. He always says anything and everything is welcome is welcome.......:D

Perhaps that's a healthier attitude towards things. There's no need to emigrate out of embarrassment then.

Thank you🌷

I had read the exact opposite advice, that inside of the wheel might be better for faster revolutions.

My main concern is to be safe, I'm looking for working carriage lamps, as well as red lights for the back and whites for the front and Rosa pony will be fully decked out in reflective gear. Even as a rider I am a fan of hi biz; it might not be cool but if we don't care about our own safety we should care about our hours's or the value of it if we are unsentimental. I am sentimental, rosa is worthless, but is rapidly become ingrained precious to me. I want us to be safe and not a danger to anyone else on the road. If we can do it in a fun way, that's better, but standard lights and reflective as will be on the kit too.

It will take away a little from the vintage charm but, we will get home again. So probably worth the sacrifice.

Best bet are the LED lights available for bicycles. Available in green. Batteries last for a long long time. You have to turn them on but will have no worries about achieving enogh speed to activate.

..
they both will turn at exactly the same rpm

The same rpm yes but those close to say a 6" hub will only travel the circumference of a 6" circle in one revolution. Those on the outside of a 36" wheel travel the circumference of a 36" circle in one revolution. Hence greater velocity.

Taken to the extreme, speeds approaching percentages of light speed can be achieved. I believe Arthur C. Clarke used this theory.

Tai Chi has great benefits for many. Look at all the old Chinese folk who practice it.

Not much pure data available but is used by various associations. Is doe slowly enough that it doesn't cause shortness of breath or increase pain. Very good for old hips and knees, IMO.

...deliver me from temptation.

err..., uh..., um..., on second thought, belay that request.

A quick 42.6 mile bicycle round trip. It was 52° this morning and I was glad I dressed appropriately.

It's been so long since I've ridden in cooler temperatures that I've forgotten the drill.

I've weaned myself off Mountain Dew. This is a huge achievement for me, I've been addicted to it for years. I'm drinking as much water as I can now. I'm very proud of myself, I was beginning to think this day would never come.

A Yeti or something similar, filled with ice and water make plain water consumption much more bearable bro!

Why in the fuck can't we just stick to the fucking plan we agreed on in the first fucking place? It worked fucking fine. It didn't need to be fucking changed. And now, I have to do more fucking shit so that it doesn't cost so fucking much.

'cause it's a committee and there is nothing on this planet that's as potentially stupid as a committee.

Congrats! Pop is just a cup of sugar dissolved in water with a bit of flavouring. Maybe one of the most unhealthy things we ingest.
