They're cute.
Do they like the visiting dogs? Mine love victors, even though little guy dog is an entire male, they are both very good about oth dogs visiting. One of their favourite dogs is coming for August, I think little guy dog is going to be very happy, but exhausted, this dog NEVER fatigues.
As we get closer to making the PTS decision for girl dog I am coming round to the idea we will hVe yo get a second dog for little man. He is not of the temperament to be an only dog I think. While girl dog would have adapted well, with enough social time, I think he is a very 'doggy' dog and needs some one to talk doggy things over with and play doggy games with and so on. However, I just do not have the heart space for this decision fully, but sensibly, G will not make it without me, believing we must be in full accord.
Oh she sits for the pets in their own homes they dont come to her house. They've all accepted the other dogs as she added them without much fuss but they are big dogs and I dont let my 4 lb yorkies near them. lol
For safety reasons and the yorkies are very bitchy and argumentative sometimes and would get eaten or stepped on.
Dogs adapt to other dogs pretty easy.

elle, i'll prefix this by saying i do not know if it works better or not, but have you considered getting the other dog while you still have both? i'm wondering if l.g.d accept a new dog faster and take the loss of your girl dog easier if he already had another pack mate established....They're cute.

that's a new one on me!Ah, I discovered this joy with little guy dog! Also, he has a strange joy for pooing on walls, which makes life very much easier for me when I walk him in built up areas! He likes to reach up to poop

lolol - he wants to make damned sure the big dogs all know his scent and is conning them he's really REALLY tall? they all go home hoping not to meet with the guy who's THAT big he can poop on top of walls.And gross.

damnit - the skies have finally cleared, got the windows wide open, and the next door neighbour has managed to acquire what must be the world's loudest flippin' strimmer and is tackling his back garden. sounds a cross between a noisy motorbike and one of the planes that regularly cross overhead! seriously stupid decibels i actually hought they must be cutting down one of the trees at first, not just strimming the edges of the grass and shrubs.

Seriously. I've owned big dogs all my life and the solution is simple: Science Diet brand dog food.
50% smaller Ishmaels (aka "shitpiles").

I miss my dear old friend. He and his partner used to throw the best dinner parties, with the most interesting guests, and everyone went home with fresh eggs.
