Isn't ironing that thing you do where you put the clothes back in the dryer with something wet until all the wrinkles shake out???

That's too much work. I hang them in the shower for 30 minutes while the hot water runs...

I did this at a hotel once with my suit. Then preceded to fall asleep. Not good, not good at all....

That would be a good deal. I freaking hate shopping.

I know! I'm on my way to do my wifely duties of grocery shopping and getting my eyelashes done. And coffee. And, umm, probably a donut.

On second thought I'd probably rather do my own shopping.

Fuck me

In basic training you had to fold your underwear into a 6" square with no seams showing. There were these Plexiglas things in the windows to deflect drafts which might catch a corner of your bedsheets and move them by a 1/4" (still have the ruler used for measuring and making hospital corners). With the guys in next bunk, you could sandwich underwear between Plexiglas and put a heavy foot locker on them to 'iron' them as flat as fucking possible.

Off to make a blood donation, AKA going to the cottage.

Hopefully the blackflies are done.

G tries to help sometimes.

And I hate it, Things go in the wrong places:mad: and folded in the wrong way. I read the Marie whatsername book about the life changing art of tidying up, and while it hasn't changed my life, it has changed how I fold my clothes somewhat, and I really like things where I can see and find them.

Edit Marie kondo

Finding things is easy. All you need do is remember roughly when you used/wore it last and that tells you how far down the pile it is. Very simple system.

When the torch came out, the bananas didn't know what hit 'em.

The buttermilk pancakes were delicious.

I like to grocery shop.

Hate doing laundry.

Don't think I've ever owned an iron.

As and aside, it's a picture perfect day here on my mountain. The annual Redneck Dayz is today, but there will be too many people there for my tastes. I'd like to play some golf, but weekends is when the tourists and people with jobs clog up the course. I may just sit on the porch and drink.

Colbert has had on my two current favourite artists this week: Aesop Rock & Silversun Pickups. This makes me happy.

The current iron is new ( ish). My excitement over its arrival was not insignificant. I quite want a very smart wooden ironing board too, but my ironing board is very light and this is in its favour. :D.

Like getting a new power tool. ummm Sawzall!
